I’m often on the go and switch between using my phone, iPad, and laptop for video calls. However, I often find myself wanting something easier to use on my phone that doesn’t break the bank and isn’t hard to put away. Something I roll my eyes at are the “MagSafe” compatible options that charge a ridiculous amount because it’s compatible for apple. Or they are devices that utilize a massage charger and become bulky. This solves both issues while being foldable and compatible out of the box with MagSafe iPhones. It’s an all metal construction and feels very sturdy for its size. This is great for bedside, small tables, city transport, and any place where you have a limited amount of flat space. My only concern is that your limited in angles until out will tip forward or back… darn physics. However, I’ve found that it’s useful for most scenarios. TLDR: Small and extremely portable fitting in most any small bag or pocket. Metal construction and built in MagSafe compatibility. Comes with two extra magnet rings. Limited positions. This all metal magnetic stand is sturdy but slim, strong but light, and heavy enough to give support but not weigh down the phone. Packaging: - This tripod stand came in a product specific box with the stand, 2 magnets to make anything capable of attaching to the stand magnetically (i.e. making a non-magsafe phone/case capable of using the stand), and basic instructions on use. Setup & Ease of Use: - The hinges (4) on this mount are tight and require some pull to get them into their place, but once they are put in position, it will stay in that position. - The hinge on the main magsafe connection will fold completely flat one direction but maybe about 225 degrees in the other direction (45 degrees past 180 degrees from that flat position) - The next hinge towards the base from that magsafe connection can fold flat but does Not fold past 180 degrees the other way. - The other two hinges at the base that create the tripod stand when open, take some effort to fold out, but to ensure that they don't move while the phone is on it, I think that this is worth it. Also, it appears that the screws creating the hinge can be tightened or loosened with an Allen wrench per preference. Performance and Features: - It is convenient that the wings at the base, that make up the tripod, can be moved in many different positions most of which will support my phone without a problem. Pros: - The magnet force that creates a strong connection between my phone and this stand is quite strong and secure. I can place my phone in a portrait or landscape position and it will remain in that position without a problem. - There is a screw hold at the center of the base that likely can be used on a larger tripod or mounting the stand to a wall perhaps. The suction is so strong that it would likely not have a problem holding a tablet (especially with 1 of the 2 included magnetic 3M conversion rings) Cons: - The hinges are tight. Two hinges appear to be adjustable at the tripod base, but the two main arm hinges don't. Verdict: - I highly recommend this for everyday use for any number of reasons from creating a stable method to take close up pictures on the table to making anything accessible from the same spot over and over again. I love this mini Tripod! Portability Wise it's a good size & I keep mines attached to my phone often. Functions as expected. The stability is ok just depending on your phone size but it's easy to adjust the stand legs to balance out the weight of the phone. Good quality make of the stand itself, has a little weight to it but still good to move around with. I really enjoy the value in having mines. I'd definitely recommend! Read more

When you take this stand out of the box, you could immediately feel the quality of construction. While lightweight, the entire unit feels solid and there are no creaking or wiggling anywhere. The unit comes folded in a very compact form, but could be extended to support phones of any size. This is incredibly simple and easy to use. Fold out the base to form the tripod legs, then lift the main holding unit up. The built in magnetic ring holds phones securely and firmly, which can be an issue when trying to remove the phone from the stand. Since this device is adjustable, you could change the angle and heigh of the phone in any number of ways, which makes this incredibly versatile. As a phone holder, this functions well and the only complaint I have is that the magnet works too well. To remove the phone, you have to use two hands. One hand to hold the base, and the other to remove the phone. It would have been great to have a way to remove the phone one handed, but as it stands (haha, get it?) I think this is a great product that I can recommend to anyone who has a magnetic phone or case. Read more
