Absolutely love this sweater. I got it because I wanted a royal blue sweater (hard to find). And also a short cropped sweater I didn’t have to tuck in. Color: The blue is gorgeous - a rich royal blue, (not a neon shade that some royal blues are that sort of hurt your eyes to look at). This is a truly beautiful blue. Fit: I’m 5’2”, 117#, 34D - the small fits perfectly. The length hits just under the waist band of high waist jeans. My skin was not exposed as I moved around except for 1 or two times in the day and little flashes. So I stayed covered and warm. The back is slightly longer. I love the balanced proportion and accentuation of my waist with the cropped length. It has a mild dolman shape that looks graceful and chic, even with a larger chest. Texture: It’s soft and not scratchy. There is a texture to it with the larger weave, but it’s soft. It’s not see through. Weight: medium-light weight, yet warm. Perfect for mid 40’s F. Love this cropped sweater! I wouldn’t say that it is very warm though, I wore a thin long sleeved shirt underneath just for more layers. It’s very short. The color was beautiful…and I liked the design but it’s very cropped. I am 5’5” with an average torso or short torso and it was above my belly button. I couldn’t tuck it into anything and have it stay. It was a nice thick enough material, but not too thick either. Wish it would have worked. Read more

I was surprised when I opened the package and pulled this out. The photos make it look like a cobalt blue, but it is more of a bright royal blue. I was also disappointed in the length. It is shorter than it looks in the pictures. Even with my high-waisted jeans on, it's still a belly shirt. I am tall (5'8") with a long torso, so it may be fine on other body types. I went ahead and tried it on just to make sure it didn't surprise me, but that only convinced me further to return it. It didn't feel good against my skin and I knew I would get that nasty, sweaty, scratchy feeling wearing it indoors that often comes with these acrylic sweaters.
