When I pulled this out, I seriously thought I had received the wrong size, but when I tried it on, it was thick quality knit that kept it's form, and fit perfectly. The color is a true black and the style was surprisingly flattering even for a very curvy figure. It is curve hugging like the photos, but there was no straining on the buttons, and it honestly looked very tailored. This sweater really is versatile in that it would be perfect with a more formal looking outfit over dresses, skirts and dress pants, but also it looks fabulous dresses down with jeans. This sweater is exactly as described. The fabric blend is soft and it's slim fit. It has plenty of stretch to it, so it's not tight feeling. But if you have any extra weight around the middle, it's not going to be the most flattering option out there. Because of the lowest button being several inches above the bottom of the sweater, it's going to emphasize any belly that you do have. If you don't carry weight in the middle, it's going to look like the model in the photo. So it's not poorly designed per se ... but not designed for every body shape. However, it does look cute unbuttoned and the fabric is tightly knit enough to have some structure to it, so it actually looks maybe even cuter unbuttoned. The sleeves are nicely long. The label on the actual sweater seems to indicate that you can machine wash. The product description says machine-wash. The cardboard product label attached to the sweater says hand-wash is preferred. That won't be happening in my house, so we shall see what happens! I always use cold water for washing clothes in the machine & I don't put most clothes in the dryer, so we'll see how this turns out. The Apricot color is accurately represented in the product photos and is neutral enough to wear with a lot of outfits. And it looks nice enough that you could wear it over a business casual outfit if your office gets chilly or with jeans if you're going out. So all in all, it is what it says it is and is pretty versatile. The current $29.99 is probably what you would pay for a sweater of this style and quality in a department (non-specialty) store, so it's priced accurately in my opinion. This is a comfortable sweater, however, I wish I would have sized up. It is certainly slim fit, and if you want a more relaxed and roomy style, I'd go up a size. Material was soft, however, it didn't feel warm to me. It was also on the shorter side and the fabric was slightly thin, I didn't really get knitted vibes from this. I really liked the color, though, and it's easy to pair with Uggs and layer with a scarf. Didn't work out for me since it was a little too snug, but if you size up, you could make it work. When I opened this sweater I thought, "Oh no did I order children's size?" Nope! It looks SO small on first impression, but it fits your body shape no problem, and it's really flattering! In the first picture, I'm holding it in front of me, so you can see how small it looks compared to what it looks like on. I ordered the color coffee in a size small. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs for reference. It is amazing quality. It is a thick, stretchy, and soft material. It's warm enough to throw on over my work shirt in my office, that is always cold, and it keeps me comfortable. I plan on wearing it next unbuttoned with a dress for an autumn-themed event that I am attending. It washed really nicely, with no pilling or change in the material. I DID NOT put it in the dryer.
