I was a little hesitant to order these due to some of the reviews. I enjoy and rely on reviews before chosing to order anything, but I have also learned, from working in high end retail, that many items like shoes are produced in batches. It's very common to receive something where the color is off or one doesn't match the other. We must have received a 'good' batch. The shoes themselves are very cute and the fit was perfect, my usual size. I appreciate the way the material lays across the vape, it makes it eye catching and adds a nice sense of interest. The heel is not too high and I enjoy that the soles appear to offer some slip resitance. I also noticed how comfortable the bed of the shoe is. Per my usual, when it comes to shoes I will always wear them immediatley and wear them around the house all day. I was on my feet the entire day when these arrived. I marched up and down the stairs easily, and didn't notice too much weight, that could be as it's made of thermoplastic rubber, which is a rubber/plastic mix that helps reduce the weight. To me, this makes these shoes much easier to wear and feel less clunky. I do wonder how long they will last compared to a completely rubber soul; we'll just have to see. So far, these seem like a fun shoe you can wear for a casual night out that provies comfort, is light and offers some stability. Read more

I recently got the Hearth Clara from Clarks and overall I’m genuinely impressed. If you’re looking for a boot that blends refined style with day-long comfort, this may be one of the best I’ve found. What I like: The upper is premium nubuck leather, giving it a clean, modern look that pairs easily with jeans, skirts or dresses. It features the brand’s “Ultimate Comfort” foam footbed and a flexible, grippy sole, so even after hours on my feet it still felt supportive. The hardware detailing and chunky sole add a bit of edge without being over-the-top — it elevates the boot beyond basic. It’s versatile: I wore it with casual denim and also for a dress-casual outing and it worked for both. Things to keep in mind: Nubuck leather needs a bit of care — a protective spray for water and stains will help it stay looking new. While stylish, the heel and chunkier sole mean it’s not the flattest boot — if you’re sensitive to height or prefer ultra-flat, this may feel different. Bottom line: If you want an ankle boot that’s dressy enough for work but still comfortable for all day wear, the Hearth Clara is a great pick. Slate nubuck casual Clarks boot. It is very comfortable and durable. I wear them with yoga pants. I can also wear them with jeans or a denim skirt. The heel isn’t flat but low enough to be stable. The toe is tapered. I prefer having room to move my toes so I did go up half a size. I usually wear narrow and these are medium. I don’t need bulky socks as I had thought. Regular crew or boot socks work for me. There is a side zipper on one side and buckle detail on the other size of the ankle. The heel is about an inch. The slate color has a darker brown on the toe and heel for accent. Because of the buckle accent and darker shading around the toe they are stylish. I mostly wear Clarks shoes. Super cute and well made boot - lightweight but heavy enough to know they're hopefully going to be durable and last a long time. The zipper works well and they are comfortable. As others have mentioned, they look dressy enough for work but are comfy enough for walking around and durable for outdoor wear. My major disappointment with these is that you need to size UP. I ordered a 9.5 wide and they didn't end up fitting so I gave them to someone with size 8/8.5 feet and they fit perfectly. I chose the nubuck slate color in 8.5 wide. My feet can fit into 7.5 in womens, but because they are wide i like to get a half size or 1 size bigger. I wasnt sure which way to go with this one, so i opted for the wide version in 1 size larger. They fit comfortably with maybe a half size worth of room for socks. As always, Clark's delivers with these classy, comfy shoes. Are they boots? I don't know how to classify them. When I stepped into them, I felt a little taller. They are not heavy, they feel comfy and I spent a few hours walking in these before reviewing them. They look so good. There are zippers on the inside to make them easy to put on and take off. There's stretchy material on the side to allow wiggle room when putting on the shoes. Quality in the craftsmanship is there, most of my Clark's shoes thus far have held up well over time and I don't see why these wouldn't. Can't go wrong with the brand or this style. Read more
