The basic black dress shoe is an essential part of my wardrobe. I was happy to find my second Clark shoe purchase was another big success. I look for a good fit and hours long comfort; not just style. I got that is this shoe. I have a high instep, but also often experience swelling so I was relieved that the wide size fit comfortable barefoot or with thin trouser socks. I would say the shoe size was true to fit. The price was great for the soft leather feel and the sense that these are well made. I'm still wearing a five-year old pair from the same company and they are wearing well so I anticipate the same for this pair. Definitely a brand and shoe style I would recommend. Read more
Very Comfortable. I have 2 pairs and they dont fit the same. Should have returned the second. Same size but different fit. Dont know why but my first shoes were great Read more
I was looking for new flats to wear with my winter dresses at work. I have always had great luck with Clark shoes. They look great, are comfortable all day and they last for years. They may be a bit more expensive, at times, but they are worth it. I highly recommend these shoes 👞. Read more
I don’t consider myself to have wide feet, just an average size, but these shoes are tight in the toe area. Holy cow. I have hope that they will stretch out at some point but until then, they rub the outside of my pinkie toe and the top of the second to last toe. By the end of the work day I’m begging to take them off. Unfortunately I’ve already worn them outside so I can’t return them, but just a precaution to anyone looking to buy a pair, wear them for a few hrs inside your home first to make sure they are comfortable. I only did for 10 mins and it clearly was not enough time to tell. For reference I purchased a size 9 as that’s what I typically wear in all other footwear. I do find that the rest of the shoe fits really well everywhere else and the reason for giving it 3 stars, so sizing up to a 9.5 would have made them too loose. Read more
They are a bit on the narrow side, especially on the heel which is great for me. They fit me perfectly without the heel riding up and down. They are very attractive and comfortable. I'd recommend them to someone who sometimes finds shoes difficult to fit because the heels are too wide. Back in the day, I wore a B width with an A or AA heel, which are no longer made in affordable shoes. Read more
Genuinely disappointed with these. They’re cute and professional looking, but for an $80 pair of shoes, I expected more. There is no support or cushioning. The “foam padding” is so thin it might as well not even exist. I got these expecting all day comfort and support for my feet, as I’m a teacher on my feet all day. Wore them today and came home with aching feet, blisters in my arches, and the back of my heels are raw, even after applying bandages as a barrier (which I had to apply within the first hour of wearing them).
