So far this is my second favorite pimple patch. However, these are much cheaper than The brand I usually get. That brand is 90 patches for $25 and this brand is currently $15 for 108 patches. Those ones work a little faster, but I think these are the better deal! I mean think about it, if I use one during the day and put a fresh one on for night the pimple will be completely flat and most of the redness gone by using these. The other ones work overnight but I'm paying so much more that it's just not worth it! Plus I love the fact that these ones come in two sizes. Sometimes if you have a pimple in a weird area like on the side of your nose you need the smallest patch possible because big patches will go over the folds in your nose and they'll lift off easily. So all in all I think the value on these is better than the leading brand I was using. I really like the fact that these come in three individual sheets inside this package. Each individual sheet is in its own bag and has a cover on it. So these things stay completely clean till you're ready to open that part of the package! The only thing I don't like about them is you really have to wiggle your nail under them to get them to peel up and then you have a hard time flattening that part of the dot on your face. Otherwise they stick just as well as the name brand. They minimize redness and swelling but they do not get what's in your skin out. So what I like to do is leave the pimple patch on overnight and then use a clean comedone extractor to press down around the sides of the pimple and push the contents out! Then I like to clean it with an alcohol swab or salicylic acid something like that. Wait till it is completely dry and apply a new patch! This keeps bacteria from getting in that hole you just created by pushing the contents out. It also adds more of the medicine that helps keep the swelling and the redness down so by the time you're ready to take this patch off in a couple hours your skin should be perfectly healed underneath there! I will buy these again. I'll probably still keep a package of the other ones on hand because they work more quickly, but when I have the time I will gladly use these ones because they still work and they're so much more affordable! When I first heard of the pimple patches, I honestly thought they would be like little vacuum cleaners and suck the gunk right out of my pimples and pores. I thought I would pull them off and have perfectly clean skin underneath. I thought they would be like pore strips that removed all my blackheads and pimple. Boy, was I excited. I wore them 8 hours a night for 5 days. Nothing improved. I didn’t see any blackheads on the patches when I took them off? What a load of crap I thought to myself. After some quick reading to educate myself on hydrocolloid patches, I quickly learned that these pimple patches don’t do any of those things. They are not little vacuum cleaners that work while you sleep. If it was only that easy and I was very wrong. These hydrocolloid patches provide a gentle cover for pimples and blemishes of all kinds. They aid in keeping pimples clean and hydrated while absorbing excess moisture. They can speed up the healing process and help to prevent scabbing and scars. We all try to avoid scars on our bodies and especially our face. I had a momentary lapse….I picked at a huge pimple. After about a week of looking at this thing, I couldn’t stand it anymore. Of course, I was left with what appeared to be a wound from a stray bullet. Here’s where these little magic patches enter. You can place one of these transparent dots over the open wound. (Don’t be like me and remember to use patches before you pick!) Anyway, the patch begins to absorb moisture right away. These patches continued to keep it clean as I went about the next day. These are a clear beige in color. Slightly visible but most people don’t notice them – from my experience. Honestly, in my situation the sight of a small patch looked so much better than the giant bloody hole in my face! It kind of looks like a tiny bandage for a legit injury. Less than 2 days I could see the skin healing and a major part of my wound was gone. It closed with a smooth soft appearance. No scabbing which means no scarring. It really looks like it will vanish completely. Phew. From my experience, they work. I always keep a stock. With all that said, I think these are crazy expensive compared to the others. These were my first experience using a pimple-patch and I WISH they'd had these when I was a kid. This was amazing! I should have known that I wasn't going to have to wait too long for the chance to try them out, since apparently, perimenopause is like second puberty, and all my teenaged thoughts of "well, at least I won't have pimples at 50" were pure Pollyanna fantasy. I had a big red volcano threatening to erupt on my temple last night and saw the opportunity to try these out. I chose an appropriately sized clear sticker from one of the sheets, peeled it off, pressed it onto the zit for 3 seconds and went to bed. When I got up this morning, the pimple was a deflated little thing and barely visible. If I had to guess, if I catch them earlier, the results will be even better. There's no odor, no residual stickiness, and my skin wasn't irritated at all. There was NO effort to using these, and I don't think I'd have an issue wearing one during the day, since they're pretty small and clear and I remember all to well having to dab white cream onto bright red zits... This is progress! The price--in my humble nasty-white-zit-paste-memory-tinged-opinion--is great. At the time I ordered these, the package of 180 was priced at $14.99.
