Where the hydrocolloid patches work great for drawing moisture out of the skin and targeting blemishes close to the surface, they really don't do much for those blind, painful pimples. The microdart feature helps to penetrate the top dermal layer and infuse Niacinamide into the skin to calm early and deep blemishes, rather than pulling the gunk out. This is the first time I've seen or tried a product like this and I've been really pleased with the results. A couple problem areas were reduced overnight and undetectable after a second night - results I would not expect to achieve with the hydrocolloid patches. I have dry sensitive skin. I don’t get as much breakout as I did when I was younger. When I do, it’s usually around my nose area so I wanted to try this product. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT: 1. I also use a different Cordiale pimple patches and they do a really good job in terms of preventing my pimple from getting worse. It says that this is good for both early pimples and blemishes. 2. My other Cordiale product has more patches than this one. This comes with 12 patches and they are in blister packs. 3. I suppose this one makes it more hygienic because it doesn’t come in sheets. 4. When it comes to helping with early stage pimples, I think it does a good job but I feel that the one in the sheets do a much better job. 5. This one has niacinamide though, which is good for calming. 6. I like the microdart feeling. It feels like some of my skincare products that have spicules. They really don’t hurt. It feels like micro-currents from skin wands. 7. It sticks very well, even if you just recently used skincare products. 8. I don’t feel it once I have it on. I just leave it overnight. OVERALL IMPRESSION: While I think that these would be good for new blemishes, I don’t feel that they are cost-effective and worth their value as I think that it may take a while for new blemishes to disappear. I stick one on at the first sign of a blemish eruption, and by morning the breakout calms. Nicely contained and easy to apply cleanly. A little pricier, but worth it because they stay on through the night. Read more

I'll start this review with the caveat that I have sensitive skin. I did a patch test on the inside of my bicep before using on my face and passed, but when I used this on my face I knew within twenty/thirty minutes that I had made a mistake. I felt an itchy/burning feeling and went to the mirror and I was beet-red under the patch. I immediately removed it but the fun didn't stop there. The spot flushed to a magenta within an hour and swelled a bit, itching and burning the whole time. I had to take a Benadryl and use some of my prescription cream for my rosacea to cool the fire down. It bothered me a little for a day or two thereafter and then I peeled a little bit as I'm won't to do after a flare like this. I don't know if I had a reaction to the adhesive, the 'darts' piercing my skin, or the salicylic acid formulation. Or maybe it was a combination of the three. I was confused that I had no reaction on my patch test area, and that my reaction occurred so quickly, but this was my experience. I'm bummed because I was excited about this kind of product for the stubborn white head or pimple that pops up, but I'll gift the other patches to someone who can use them without fear of a reaction like mine. I'm sure these are great for people with more tolerant skin. Applying them was easy, like any other patch, but you hold them on a little longer to ensure the darts penetrate the skin. These are quite pricey but I appreciate that they are all individually wrapped for hygienic reasons and they’re easy to apply. The small circle adhesive ring is easy to remove on these so they don’t get damaged in the process. Simply remove that outer wax paper ring and apply. Hold in place with your finger for a few seconds and it’s all set. I don’t get many breakouts but on occasion I do. I had a pimple I could feel forming on my chin that hadn’t quite came to a head but I went ahead and put one of these patches on before bed. It stayed right in place until I removed it in the morning and that pimple was barely if at all noticeable. By later in the day I realized it was completely gone. I’m impressed. I’m glad to have these on hand as I also have a 14 year old who luckily hasn’t had any acne show up yet but with his age you never know. I just wish these weren’t so pricey as I’d buy them again if needed but we’ll have to see about that. They seem to work though as far as I can tell at this point and they aren’t glaringly noticeable on your skin. I experienced zero irritation from them although I was a little nervous about the little pin pricks these talk about as part of the way these are made to work but zero discomfort or notice of that. These are very cool patches . They are fairly large . They are easy to pull off and stick on . They adhere pretty well and stay on without coming off through the night . They aren’t painful to use , if you press them down really hard, you will feel a bunch of tiny pricks but it’s not painful and it takes a lot of pressure . Otherwise they feel fine . I didn’t notice these ones absorbing stuff like other kinds. These seem like more of an absorb into the skin vs absorb stuff from the skin . I was only able to try it on my upper lip which is an awkward area . I’ll have to wait to see about a better spot like my chin or forehead . Overall pretty great ! Read more
