Great lotion, but bottle had issues and had to self fix

I think the lotion is fantastic and spreads very well on the body. Perfect for someone like me who reacts to scented products. I nearly returned product because I would pump the handle and nothing would come out. After pulling the pump out I see it was maybe 2-3 inches longer than the bottle would allow and was bent sideways so no possible lotion could pump up so I took a scissor to it to the correct height and problem solved. Effective product; price consideration

The highest recommendation for any product is repurchase, which I intend to do. This lotion (shea butter based) absorbs and moisturizes w/o being tacky. I have deliberately applied it to my lower back which always gets irritated (acne) and have had no break-out. Now for a little math; the weight is 6 oz (6 fluid oz equals 12 T as there are 2 T per oz) for a cost of $22. If you apply it to your lower legs in the a.m. and p.m. and to your hands during the day, you might use 1 T per day which would make the product last approximately 12 days. Also, factor in the $5.95 s/h fee to the total cost. So, it is on the expensive side depending on usage, but is free of known harmful ingredients per EWG (Environmental Working Group). Cleure Body Lotion is a very effective product w/o the known irritants. Made in the USA. Read more

Stop Using Leak Preventing Stickers on bottle pump, they are difficult to Remove!!!

Stop using the overly sticky stickers used to prevents leaks during shipping!!! They suck!!! They are more hassle than their benefit for the consumer. They are difficult to remove and take extra time(too long) to remove from each pump spout bottle and they leave sticker residue on bottle. Horrible idea, I cannot emphasize this enough. I’ve been using Cleure Body Lotion for many years now, even though they are overpriced IMO but I liked the lotion so I stuck with them, then they changed their original squeeze, toothpaste tube type bottle to a pump bottle a couple years back and now they are putting stickers over pump dispenser so it won’t pop open or leak during transit. Go back to using the squeeze type container you originally used for this product, it worked better, used less plastic and cause less lotion waste that is left behind than the newer pump type bottles that is hard to remove lotion after the pump won’t pull anymore lotion but while there is still some lotion left behind. I’ve resorted to cutting these bottles in half and using a thin spatula to remove ALL the lotion and putting it in a Mason Jar. It’s expensive so I don’t want to leave any lotion left to go to waste. You guys had a good product but have now since ruined it with this packaging and preventative leak shipping protections. Read more
