This product was recommended to me to use since I have issues with histamine, oxalates and salicylates. This is not heavy feeling and goes on well. I used a warm cloth to rinse off and it doesn’t leave any residual feeling on my face. It does great at removing my full coverage foundation and full coverage concealer. I like that it does NOT have any scent. Read more

Buyer Beware: Any return of these expensive Cleure products incurs a fee -- either 20% even if you've used the product once and found it burned your skin (as I found); or something less if it's unopened, even if you go to the trouble of returning it to them properly. This is a pretty rotten trick given that the Amazon description does NOT say anything about return penalties. Furthermore, Cleure's marketing language of "non-irritating, great for sensitive skin" is totally false and an over-promise. My skin is only moderately sensitive, and Cleure's "Cleanser for Dry Sensitive Skin" burned from the very first try. This return fee is not something that you have to pay in any store or on most Amazon products, so it is a particularly annoying feature of Cleure. Read more

I used to have acne. Notice the past tense. Now I get an occasional pimple- rarely. I tried everything- very expensive things as well as prescription acne treatments- all of them made my face either dry or oily, some even made my face turn red or actually hurt. This is fragrance free, salicylates free (stuff that is in a lot of so-called acne medication but drives my skin berserk), gluten free, paraben free- and unlike a lot of 'natural' cleansers contains no weird extracts that you never knew you were allergic to until your face turns red and painful. (not that I wouldn't love to use those things, but I can't.) I put enough of this stuff on my 'delicate skin' brush on my clarisonic (set to the first red light power setting) and go over my face in small circles without pressing down too much. rinse with warm water, and apply the daily facial moisurizure also by cleure mixed with a drop or two of ReCeverin 50/50 vitamin c liquid. After a day or so of finally coming up with this routine I noticed my face didn't itch any more, and after a couple of weeks I had significantly less acne. Now I haven't had a mass breakout for ages. (I only wash it once a day with the clarisonic so as not to irritate my skin too much, and only wash with the cleanser if my face feels dirty or I've been outside with sunscreen on. - there are about 3 sunscreens that don't make my skin crazy and break out. one is Kinesys oil/alchohol/fragrance free sunscreen, one is Nutragena (the one that gurantees no breakouts and has an orange stripe on it), and, though I've only tried it for three days, I think Solar Sense Clear Zinc broad-spectrum stick. but I digress. This cleanser is great. Get it- try it with the clarisonic delicate brush if you've got one- a good investment for sure. Read more

I have incredibly sensitive skin - allergic to dyes, lanolin, fragrance, etc. Regular self-titled "sensitive skin" products cause me to have horrid rashes b/c they contain masking scents or other additives. Cleure has been a lifesaver for my face. I use the cleanser, day cream, and night cream...and I'm very very happy! There is a mild scent with this cleanser, but its from the ingredients - not an added chemical fragrance. Buy directly from their website, sign up for rewards and buy on Free Shipping Fridays!
