I love the Egyptian color!! It’s a gray/brown with subtle hints of green and gold. It has a lot of personality without being overpowering. I have auburn hair with hazel eyes and fair skin, and it’s the perfect color for me. I have a hard time finding eye make-up, because black and dark brown or too dark for my skin tone. This is a perfect color for fair skinned people. Clinique: if you read these reviews, please never stop making this color!! I also love the quality and texture of this pencil! By far my favorite eyeliner pencil. Creamy and soft, easy to sharpen, lasts through a 12 hour shift and bedtime! The smudge resistance is CRAZY! Not to mention the pigment, it’s so beautiful and rich, every clinique eye pencil I own is the same. All amazing! Ok, not only is this a wonderful color for a fair-skinned, hazel-eyed, aging redhead, but its staying power is phenomenal. I spent a couple of hours sweating my arse off in the sun and dancing at Pride last weekend, and this did NOT budge. I have to use eye makeup remover to get it off--and I'm happy to do so in exchange for it staying where I want it to be. It's easy to apply and glides on even older lids (ahem) with ease. It wings out beautifully. It's more subtle than black, but it still says, "I'm here!" I wore this years ago and loved it then too, then I couldn't find it for a long time. I guess Clinique started making it again relatively recently? I snatched up 2 right away. Price is not unreasonable. My sensitive skin doesn't have any problem with it, either. So much winning!
