Excellent boot for $70

I bought a Cobb Hill red boot size 8.5W and paid 69.99 for it April 2025. I took a chance, not knowing anything about the brand Cobb Hill, but concluded it was worth the risk for a leather boot in this unbelievable price range. I was not disappointed but pleasantly surprised how comfortable the leather, quality was excellent and appears to be top grain. I went up again in September 2025 to this website considering another color and fell out of my chair! This boot was raised from 69.99 to $139.99! Only explanation this vendor got caught with Chinese Tariffs? Surely an American Co. can copy this boot in this new price range? So, I would recommend checking Orthofeet, headquartered in NJ. Or Naturalizer boots, which I found now is global, but a well known brand that is equal price or even less expensive This Cobb Hill boot was an absolute great buy at $70 but I would not pay over $100. After $150, your in designer brand league. Ok, I bought a second pair now in Now '25, brown this time. The shoe is 5 Stars. but if I could, I would remove a star because of suspicious pricing: New brown pair (8.5w) $97. Then right after I purchased it- moments later, the price went up to $139. Both on backorder. Suspicious of all different prices, Hmmm. Started a search and found a 9.5w brown boot for $58 and same Shoe! Decided to buy that instead adding thick socks and gel pad. Bingo! After my 9.5w purchase, curiously checking moments later, the second in-stock pair went up to $89. What is this all about? Price range for same boot $58 - $139! Read more

Looks Nice, Hits the Front of the Ankle Badly at Times

I like the look of these shoes for work/events and I am able to wear them while taking a fast paced walk without too many issues. The main issue with these comes when I am driving and the top front of the shoe hits my ankle in an unpleasant way. I have not found it bad enough to send them back or get rid of them, but it is a problem worth mentioning. Read more

Cute and comfortable!

These ankle boots are pretty true to size and comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft but supportive and the workmanship is very good. Wish it had a bit more arch support. Read more

This style runs smaller than other Cobb Hill styles

I own many Cobb Hill shoes, all 8.5W. This style ran smaller. I had to return them, but they were beautiful and high quality, like all Cobb Hill shoes. Read more

Love these

Love these. Comfortable, good fit for my small, wide foot. They even go over my H-I-G-H instep! Heel is not too high but high enough to make them "extra." I love them with jeans. They do catch a bit getting them on over your instep if you wear socks, but you can cut one of the gray slippery envelopes into a rectangle and use it as a shoe horn over the instep! Just pulls right out after you have the shoe on. Now these are Cobb Hill! Read more
