Very very comfortable . The high waist “retro” bottom makes you look fabulous. The ruching helps hide any tummy bulge. The fit thru the rear area was a little loose. The fabric is good quality material. I’m 5’2” and 150 pounds and I really feel good in wearing this. Why they call it a “bikini “ bottom I don’t know. I love these swimsuit bottoms! They don't come up too high on my legs and cover enough in the front and back. They're comfortable, very flattering and I got so many compliments on them. But the best part is how fast they dry! Nobody likes having a soggy bottom and these definitely dry out quickly. I got a medium because I was at the top end of the small size and I didn't want to get bottoms that squeezed me. They have a generous fit so I'd go ahead and get a small if I ordered them again, but the medium is still fine, just a tiny bit loose, which will be great if I end up getting pregnant again, room to grow especially with the rouching. I have had two babies in the last 3 years and I’ve got the soft belly to prove it. I was not super excited about finding new swim bottoms for our cruise in a couple weeks. These are SO FLATTERING though! Completely hide my soft belly and come up far enough to avoid rolling down. I’m typically a size 18 jeans and the XXL fit perfectly. Read more
I really like these swim bottoms, they're super cute! (Pics to come later in the summer) That said, the sizing from this brand is a little weird. I have ordered 3 pairs of these from them. I consistently wear a US women's 4 (5'2", 129 lbs), which should make me a small in this brand &.. it does, but not in every style. I got these pink ones and the checkered ones in a sm. The pink ones fit perfectly, the checkered ones feel a little tight in the waist & they rolled down oddly when trying them on. I also have a pair I got in leopard print from a few years back that I never got around to wearing- they're a medium- they're bigger than the small, but they fit fairly nicely still- the fit is barely off. I'm not convinced that a woman who wears an 8 would feel the same about the fit in that style for a med size, but perhaps not everyone is looking for the same thing. In any case, def worth the price but you *might* need a size other than the one recommended depending on the style you choose. Glad to have these, reordering the checkered ones in a med & am hoping that will work out well. Read more
Tummy control for the win! These high-waisted swimsuit bikini bottoms are absolutely perfect. The fit, quality, and design are amazing. Absolute best pair of high waisted bikini bottoms I’ve ever bought. They are extremely flattering , just the perfect amount of ruching ( gathering) to hide any lumps, rolls, or bumps, if you have a tummy and need some tummy control. Cut perfectly in the derrière too, flattering but still modest without looking matronly. The quality is great. I took these traveling and wore them in sulfur and mineral spas, chlorine and fresh water. I hand wash them and lay them out flat to dry, and the quality stayed great all summer. These are actually high-waisted, unlike a lot of bikini bottoms that say they are, and then when you try them on, they are short. Perfect If you have a long torso and some extra tummy you would like to minimize and hide. Highly recommend these! I plan on buying several in different colors! Read more
