Mix it with water and it works fine Read more
The MIGOGIB coffee machine descaling solution worked very well. Way better than expected. Well, part of that is because I didn't realize just how bad my coffee machine/carafe had gotten. The solution is extremely easy to use. The hardest part is guessing how much of it to mix with water. Once the solution is mixed with water, you pour that into the coffee machine and run a cycle. If your carafe is anywhere near as gross as mine was, you can literally watch it work! After you have cycled the solution through, you will want to do some plain water cycles to rinse out the residue. I think I did 3 cycles, just to be sure. After cleaning, my coffee has tasted fresher. I had no idea this would make as much of a difference. Very worth the purchase and the time to descale your coffee maker! Read more
My coffee maker had started sounding a little grumbly, so I went on the hunt for a descaler. This one caught my eye because it said it was good for multiple types of machines. I pictured a sturdy, decent-sized bottle that would live under my sink for a few cleanings. Well, the bottle that arrived was... a surprise. For a product that promises five uses, it's shockingly small. I had to double-check the listing to make sure I hadn't ordered a travel size by mistake. It's about the height of my hand, and very slim. You really have to ration it carefully to stretch it for five full descaling cycles as instructed. On the plus side, the liquid itself is clear and has a very mild, almost pleasant citrusy smell, not like harsh chemicals. It did a great job quieting down my machine and the coffee tastes fresher. I just hope the liquid remains stable and effective sitting in my cabinet for the months it will take me to use up these five tiny portions. Here is my personal rundown: What worked well: · The formula seems effective. My coffee maker is noticeably quieter and my morning brew tastes less bitter. · I appreciate the mild scent. It didn't make my whole kitchen smell like a laboratory. · The instructions on the bottle are clear and easy to follow. What fell short: · The size is the main issue. The bottle is much smaller than I anticipated for a multi-use product. · It feels like you get very little liquid per use, so you have to be very precise to not run out mid-clean. This solution does what it promises, but the value feels a bit off due to the small bottle size. If you don't mind the petite packaging and just need a quick, effective clean, it will work. But if you're looking for a bulk option that will last you a year, you might want to look for a larger container elsewhere. Read more
This works great, it finally got my Descale light to go off on my K-cup coffee maker. Tastes way better now. Read more
As a Vine reviewer, I was disappointed by this product from the start. It arrived in a flimsy bubble mailer, not a box, and had leaked all over the inside. I lost about 1/4 of the product before I even got to use it. For context, I've used my coffee maker (a combo pot/single-serve) for about a year. I live in the SF Bay Area, so my water from Hetch Hetchy is very soft and doesn't cause much mineral (limescale) buildup. My main issue is coffee oils and stains. The product description claims it removes "oils, proteins, stains, and lime build-ups." I tested this in two ways: 1. Machine Cycle: I ran the diluted solution through both my single-serve and carafe sides. I noticed no difference in performance. 2. Soak Test: I soaked my reusable coffee filter (which had visible coffee stains) in the undiluted solution for 30 minutes. As you can see from my photos, it barely made a difference and the stains remained. This proves that while it might be an acid-based descaler for mineral scale (I got some on my fingers and it tingled, so it's a strong chemical—wear gloves!), it completely fails at the other half of its promise: it does not clean coffee oils or stains. If you have soft water, this product is useless for cleaning the coffee residue from your machine. I cannot recommend it. Read more

The descaler bottle arrived in good condition, securely wrapped in a plastic bag. Nothing worse than ordering a cleaning liquid, only to find that it has leaded out during shipping. As instructed I drained the coffee makers water tank prior to adding 3 1/2 oz. of the solution to the water tank. I then added 10 oz. of water to ensure that there was enough in the water tank to complete a full brew cycle. From what I could see when inspecting the coffee maker after the cleaning process, the Descaler Solution cleaned all of the mineral deposits from my coffee maker. After using the descaler my coffee maker wasn't left with a vinegar smell, that were left behind by other descaler solutions that I have used. I also liked the fact that I could get 5 cleaning cycles from the one bottle. Read more
I have a newer keurig; i followed all the directions from the manufacturer on how to complete the descale. Even with doing the process twice with what was in the reservoir, and shutting it off halfway to sit for 30 minutes, the light did not turn off and was uneffective. It does seam to be filling the cup more uniformly than before so i think it did a bit of good. I didn't notice any smells and used gloves to handle everything for safety. It's easy enough to use but it did not clean very well. I would not purchase again. Read more
