Most of this heating devices do an average job on keeping beverages hot so, I wasn't expecting much of this one, but I was pretty much surprised to see it works pretty well. The unit has different heating settings, and really does a good job on keeping beverages hot for long periods of time. Specially when setting it up on the highest temperatures. This is the only product of this type that Ive found that has higher heating temperature settings than the average ones. Another nice feature is the fact that it has a heating timer to automatically turn off, that's great so you don't mistakenly leave the unit on after use. I love the concept of this. However, I out this on the lowest setting, used the cup provided, and just about burned my bottom lip off!!!!!! The cup is metal and metal is a heat conductor therefore the heat from the plate heated the ENTIRE cup to the temperature the plate is set for. PLEASE use caution. I STRONGLY recommend not using any setting other than the lowest and be VERY careful when taking a drink. I will be sending mind back as I do not enjoy blisters on my lip. Read more
