I have tried so many things to include prescription meds, and these patches work the best so far. They stop the swelling, pain, and unsightliness. One thing I noticed that people should take care of is it change the patch every 1-2 hours depending on how much the sore is oozing. Otherwise, they aren’t going to stick or work very well in terms of keeping the spread down. I used this on a cold sore under my nose just before the blister stage. 2 days later and the sore is completely dried up with zero tenderness or scarring. These are way better than using hydrocolloid patches as they come off easily and you don’t risk breaking a scab when you remove them. Read more

I was not sure it would work but I was definitely impressed with how well these worked I used them for a week and my cold sore went away I will definitely continue to use these! They work better than the prescribed medication from my doctor and the Abreva cold sore medication, the only complaint I have is when you sweat they peel off a little so you have to replace them more 🤔 but I'll do it for how well it works! This is an awesome product. I, unfortunately have been getting cold sores on and off for years and this is legit. If you start the process earlly (taking lysine and ointment to ease pain) then the better. It will not grow bigger and it will end faster. Even though it is a little difficult to take off the packaging, it is a small round clear patch that will fit perfectly on your lip. It is best to use at night when sleeping as if you are eating and drinking it can become easier to remove and not stick properly. Plus as everyone knows that gets them the quicker you "pop" the little bumps the faster it will heal. So if you rip it off like a band aid sort of, it will sting a little but also feel better because they do itch. Read more

I was excited to order these patches based on the good reviews but I was very disappointed. They do not stick on as well as the Mederma patches and are more obvious on the lip, almost more yellow rather than clear. I only used them at night and had to buy another pack of the Merderma patches to use during the day. Read more

These work really well in relieving the sore and helping to heal faster. They are pretty obvious and do come off if you’re eating/drinking/talking a lot so I wear these at night. In the morning they’re still very stuck on so if you’re sensitive, just get the edges wet with a Q tip and they come right off. Or leave them on while you eat breakfast and you’ll have no problem removing them haha Read more

I wish I could give these 6 stars! I don't get cold sores often, but when I do, they're on the larger side and tend to last 10-14 days. I had that oh so familiar tingle start on a Monday, I used abreva because I had it on hand but decided to look at other options. I'm so glad I did! I got these patches delivered overnight and started used them Tuesday morning. I am writing this review Thursday evening ( only 2 days after using the patches and 3 days since initial cold sore started) the swelling has gone down so much since yesterday, even since just this morning it's gone down to almost unnoticeable. I added photos of how swollen it was yesterday and what it looks like today. The blister is there, but it's tiny, much smaller than what it would usually be. I am so happy I decided to try these and will definitely keep them in my house for future use. As far as how well they stick, I would clean around my sore with a qtip dipped in watered down dawn dish soap and then remove the soap with just cold water, completely pat dry the area and stick the patch on. The only issue I have is that because the patches are large, it did not stick to the inner part of my lip, otherwise they stay on great. Definitely cannot be hidden under makeup, but they aren't super noticable either. Read more

I'd give this zero stars if I could. I applied this patch as soon as I got a tingle and it must have been what the cold sore wanted because it got giant real fast. Huge blister. I kept wearing the patches and was going through 4 a day. They hardly stuck at all. I thought maybe my face was greasy but I washed my face really good each time then swabbed with 91% rubbing alcohol. It would stuck good for about 3 hours then start flapping in the wind. Don't even dream about eating or drinking with these patches on, just the sight of any food would cause it to start sliding. Don't talk either, as it would just readjust itself until it was no longer sticky. I used up all the patches pretty quick and ran to get my old cold sore shields at a store 40 minutes away. The Mederna cold sore shields work the best for me. Also, my whole mouth was so dried out by these patches that layers of skin came off my lips and my cold sore never got past the ulcer stage with these patches. It literally looked like a chemical burn. Then I started bleeding, and I use patches and shields because I'm on blood thinners and can't do the bleeding thing. The doctor advised against it. The Mederna shields always caused it the bubble, go down the next day, then ulcer for a couple of days, then straight to new skin. Never had a bleeding issue with those, nor the severe drying out. I may have had an allergy to it, not sure. But these, definitely not for me. Read more
