Lanolips 101 is amazing! When my daughter was in elementary school she would get the worst happed lips all winter long! This stuff saved my life when I was having an issue with a reoccurring rash followed by cracking, extreme dryness, and pain on my upper lip that would not go away for months. After going to a dermatologist, who was no help and told me to only put Vaseline or aquafor on my lips, this instantly eased the dryness, cracking and pain. The dryness cleared up in a week, the rash never returned, and my lips finally went back to normal. You really don't need to use a lot. I’ve tried so many hydrating lip products and so far this is the best. I was trying to find a dupe for inc.credible cosmetics “salve the day balm” which seems to be discontinued. I had a hard time believing the hype and justifying the price. I constantly battle very dry, flaky lips that are painful and sometimes bleed. I have tried everything and have found some very good products that temporarily soothe but I have never used anything that has had any lasting effect. I put this on my cracked and sore lips before bed and in the morning they were practically healed. They were smooth, flake free and I was shocked to see that the deep lines were gone. My lips looked and felt smooth. It was truly amazing. I so often read reviews and advertisements that make big claims and I get excited but when I try them I don’t get those results. So I bought this hoping but not really believing it would make a big difference and I was so happily surprised with the results. I found this salve to be truly transformational. I can’t believe that I am saying this because I always roll my eyes when I read statements like that but it is true for me and I’m so glad that I tried it. The consistency is similar to Vaseline but thicker, smoother and much less greasy. It stays put. Has no smell or taste. A little goes a long way. It doesn’t have a lip applicator tip, which is good, (more hygienic) you have to squeeze a tiny dab onto your finger and apply to lips. I rub the excess into my cuticles. Excellent product! Read more
I mean... it's pure lanolin. The ingredients list couldn't possibly be any better. Just absolute chef's kiss. It's not the cheapest lanolin out there, but the tube is super cute and makes me feel so much better pulling it out of my bag rather than something that literally says "NIPPLE BALM" on the label. Weirdly enough, I actually didn't like lanolin for nipple relief during breastfeeding — it did nothing for me then. But for my insanely chapped lips? Oh my god, lifesaver. They offer all sorts of scents and tints and what-have-you, which is great for people who like that! But I'm SO happy they offer this pure version. Loyal customer forever. One heads up if you're not used to lanolin: it's very temperature-reactive. If it's cold out, you'll need to warm the tube in your hands before you can even squeeze any out. If it's warm or hot, be careful when opening it because it will come gushing out. Once you get the hang of it though, it's completely worth it. Aside from being the best lip balm I've ever tried, it also makes it look like I'm wearing lip gloss, which I LOVE. Not for everyone of course, but you can always apply less. Read more
