For the longest time I had been wanting to add yellow-colored boots to my collection, but for the longest any pairs in yellow were not to a style I liked. So when they hit the market I hardly hesitated to get them, and they do not disappoint one bit! These have the Frye Boot look without being actual Frye. They fit quite comfortably with plenty of room in the calf area (in fact with so much room that the half-length zipper hardly matters--these can be pull-ons), but the foot area is on the narrow side, but technically I'm a size 12 that can fit an 11 depending on manufacture. The outer material is something between faux leather and suede, so it's hard to say if these are boots you would want to wear in rainy weather (probably not). Pro: Outstanding color. It's hard to find really attractive boots that are flats. Wide calves. I have XL calves which often don't fit in boots, but these fit. Cons: I'm a small 9 and can sometimes fit an 8.5 (but rarely). These boys were over an inch too long. Even is snowboarding socks they were too big all around... except in the calf. So I'm not sure a smaller size would fit... But I may try beverage d these are gorgeous boots. The pleather against my skin isn't great but not as sweaty as other pleathers. Wow these are awesome! They are super comfortable and TTS. I have pretty wide calves and they easily fit me. I was nervous that they only had a zipper part way up, but it was really easy to be my feet in them. I'm a size 10 and I ordered a 10 and they fit great. I thought they would rub a little on the side of my toes, but they didn't. Note - I do not have wide feet, and think they might be tight for wide feet. They went up to my knees and are super cute and flexible. I thought I would notice more that they were on, but I honestly forget I was wearing knee high boots (and I usually only wear loose flats). There was enough room for me to wear socks, and easily fit thin jeans or leggings in them. Definitely recommend these for this season - great price for great boots! My wife had high hopes these boots would work for her. Unfortunately, they were too large for her and uncomfortable, even though I ordered the correct size. That said, the material is soft and flexible, and the side zipper makes them easy to take on and off. These may work well for you if you are taller. Read more

I really want a pair of Campus boots but I am really struggling to justify the spend. So I am checking out some other options. These are pretty close. They have a couple extra features and are just a little shorter. Otherwise the shape is extremely similar. I chose the chocolate because they are faux leather and I thought they looked the least faux. Plus chocolate is showing up as in for the season, so it was the almost natural choice. Size wise I think these run about a half size big. That said I think it's still appropriate to order your actual size because this gives you the opportunity to wear a thicker sock. Plus these boots will look great with tights and in the winter you'll still want some socks for warmth so a little extra room isn't a bad idea. The also have a rubber sole that makes it a little safer to walk in. As a faller, I can use all the help I can get. I think these are a good choice. These boots are really pretty and stylish, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they feel right out of the box. The chunky block heel is easy to walk in, and the square toe gives my feet enough room without feeling cramped. The only downside is the calf fit. They are definitely not designed for wide calves—the zipper goes up, but it feels snug and doesn’t leave much breathing room. If you have average or slim calves, these will probably be perfect. But if you need a wide-calf fit, keep in mind that these may run too narrow. Overall, I really like them for the look and comfort, but wish they offered a true wide-calf option. Read more
