I felt compelled to write a review after taking this camping in manistee, mi - seeing a lot of reviews saying it doesnt fit in the bag it comes with. it does. very easily. they call it a 'stuff sack' - you are not meant to roll the sleeping bag then fit a rolled bag into the sack. thats ridiculously difficult. you bunch up the bottom of the bag into a ball, then just shove it to the bottom of the bag, moving around the bag and turning the bag while stuffing it to the bottom. if you do this, it fits in the bag without any issues at all, its not even close to not fitting. that being said, I paid $30 for the non-XL version. im a big guy, about 300 pounds and 6', i fit in it with zero issues. its a rectangle so it fits a LOT nicer than a mummy bag. the temps got down to about 40 degrees when i went, it was perfect for that temp. anything lower and you're going to be cold for sure, but even when it was warm out the following evening, around high 60's, I did not get sweaty or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend this sleeping bag. the list price for this bag is around $60, I paid half that. for the price, its a steal for sure! Read more

Just purchased the 80in and 85in for my husband and son’s Boy Scout camping trip. I opened the smaller one and it seems like a great quality sleeping bag. (I searched Amazon for over an hour looking for some with great reviews and stumbled upon these for $30). Columbia is a good outdoor gear brand so I figured why not give them a try. It’s pretty much impossible to roll and get back in the bag, but if you just stuff it in little by little, it fits in there perfectly. (Top is unopened/bottom is stuffed back in). They haven’t used them yet and we live in the south so it’s only supposed to get in the 50s, but will update my review if anything changes or they don’t keep warm. Read more

Great sleeping bag. It’s very roomy width wise and is fairly long. Washed the bag per the instructions. The filling & the seams remained intact and it appears to be very well made. It was easy to stuff it back into the stuff sack. Read more
