Columbia mens Snow Gun Ii Pant

I’m writing this review specifically for parents of tall, thin teenagers—this is the snow pant you need! We have always struggled to find a pant that gives enough length (hello, high-water pants!) without being massively baggy in the waist. The 'Long' sizing option on these Columbia Snow Gun II pants is genius and solves that problem completely. My son is over six feet tall but still wears a smaller size in the waist, and the Long fit was absolute perfection. They covered his boots completely and gave him room to move without looking oversized. This specific sizing option alone deserves five stars for saving us from another year of poorly-fitting snow gear. Beyond the incredible fit, the quality is exactly what you expect from Columbia: warm, waterproof, and seriously durable. They held up through a full weekend of heavy-duty snowboarding and tubing with zero leaks, and he wasn't complaining about being cold even after hours on the mountain. Highly highly recommend to keep warm without getting too hot. I loved mine so much (female) I got my husband a pair and he shares my same thoughts about them. We're both very pleased. These are very comfy, waterproof, very warm, yet can be worn inside without getting too hot. I've warn them in windy freezing rain and stayed warm yet lounged inside in 70 degree temp and didn't get too hot. They're comfortable enough I've worn them as lounge pants before around the house. The waterproof is such an amazing feature as we're a very rainy/slushy/wet area that bounces between near zero and mid 70s on and off through the winter. Waterproof in cold wet is a godsend. I love that I can wear these on rainy days regardless of the temp as long as it's below mid 70s out. Higher temps I think they'd be too hot but have never tried. Read more

I’m very satisfied with the Columbia Men’s Snow Gun II Pants. They fit well, are warm without feeling bulky, and keep me dry in cold and snowy conditions.
