This jacket is amazing!!! Very lightweight and breathable. I wore it all day and it felt just like a light windbreaker. I didn’t over heat in it at all like other rain suits that feel like your wearing a plastic bag. It’s completely waterproof. I wore it all day in pouring rain and stayed dry as a bone. The fabric sheds light and moderate rain well, and the seams and zipper flaps help keep water from sneaking in through the front. It is not insulated, which is a positive if you want flexibility. On cooler days I add a fleece or hoodie underneath; on warmer rainy days the shell alone is enough. Fit is practical rather than fashion focused. The cut allows a mid layer without feeling tight, and the hem and cuffs can be adjusted so wind does not blow up the sleeves or bottom. The hood offers decent coverage and cinches down well enough that it stays in place when you turn your head. As always with clothing, though, this is only an opinion, not objective truth, since body shapes and preferences vary a lot. What I appreciate most is how packable the jacket is.
