Also tried wearing this when it warmed up a bit and rolled up above the ears, and was a bit too toasty for the heat. 👤 Snug fit, and the soft knit is comfortable and non-scratchy. 🎣 Honestly love the PFG patch. This is a review for a beanie type of winter hat. I found the value of this item to be quite reasonable. Similar quality items were similarly priced, and given me quality, I find this to be a high value item. This is a beanie type of hat made by Columbia. As you know, Columbia is a high-quality brand and this hat does not disappoint. The color on it was really nice and I really like the Striped dark green color pattern. The folded section was tacked into place and so it will not become unfolded in the label, which says “first on the water” is sewn on the front of the cap. The cap is very smooth to the touch and very comfortable. It should keep you very warm in the winter. In addition, the fabric breathes nicely and launders quite easily. Overall, this item looks great, functions great, keeps you warm, and should last a long time. I strongly recommend it. Read more

This beanie is comfortable, soft, and warm. It also looks great, no matter what I wear with it. I love the small details that only certain observant people notice, such as the "stars" and actually fish! It is a great conversation starter, especially since I love fishing. The fitment is great, it stays on my head but it doesn't pinch or get uncomfortable because its not super tight. I also noticed it wicks moisture decently, because my head did not get sweaty after wearing it for a 3 hour hike. I like it a lot and would recommend it based on how well its working out for me! Once it gets under 60 degrees, I'm rarely without a beanie. I ordered this one to add to my collection, but my husband, the real Columbia fan in the house, promptly stole it. It has a chunkier knit and a softer yarn than many beanies, making it comfortable on his shaved head, and warm enough even for cold days without being over-heating. Every stitch, including the patch, looks perfect. The inside is layered so that there are no actual seams touching the crown of his head (again, a comfort thing for those with shaved or no hair, and a better way to prevent frizz and tangles for those of us with longer hair).
