Wife's review: Update : Great hiker fit comfort. The sole is really durable with grip texture pattern the style is nice with a more tailored fit. I'm satisfied with these Columbia Crestwood hikers. Wore them around the house and walking then shopping to break them in and after walking on concrete flooring for a couple hours they're great. Totally comfortable.. They'll be perfect for the outdoors now with all the leaves and cold mud/muck. Read more

I bought these a few hours before hiking around the Olympic, didn’t have time to break them in - but I didn’t need to! They are SO comfortable and durable. Size up. I don't care what any other comment says, size up at least whole size. Columbia's run very small. I was given these as a gift but they were too small and it was outside of amazons new return window so I had to buy a whole new pair and just give the other ones away. I wear an 11 in literally every other shoe, I had to size to a 12 wide for them to fit. Invest in good insoles as well, these are a bit brutal till broken in and there is 0 arch support. Read more

I ordered this reading all the reviews about how comfortable and waterproof these shoes are. But while I did not use it in wet conditions, I wore it for 3 long hikes so far and have to say the comfort could definitely have been better. They are definitely not as cushiony or comfortable as my sketchers sneakers. Hiking downhill really hurt my toes and left my feet feeling raw. While they may be durable and waterproof I wish Columbia would include cushioning to those qualities. Read more

The Columbia brand has never disappointed me. These Crestwood hikers have been my go to for years. I did have to go online to find them this time. Lightweight, extremely durable, comfort and support are exceptional. I have a high arch and these do not fail! Traction and gripping are great. Read more
