This is a very nice alternative to the instant pot mini. I chose this one because of the sous vide function, which i use to make yogurt. It worked much better than the IP yogurt button function. I was able to culture for 11 hours at a steady 105. Also, I tried the Instant Pot 3qt liner and it fits fine in this model, which means I can buy a stainless inner pot which I prefer for most things. The only drawback I'd say is the rim of this brand doesn't have any place to prop it on the rim the way IP does, so it was awkward trying to find a place to put a big hot wet pressure cooker cover. Works, but cumbersome to use due to having to click a single button multiple times to move from one setting to another. You can’t just click different buttons. You have to cycle through. Then you must use a different button to set the time. The buttons are hard to read. After multiple uses, I still find it nonintuitive. That said, it heats up quicker than my old unit. Takes only 5 minutes to build up steam. The lid with top handle is nice. Pot is nonstick and easy to clean. I use it often to make chili, stew, and risotto. Read more
