My calves fluctuate between 18 and 19 inches. I love how perfectly the x-wide size fits. The foot section of the boot fit me perfectly as well. I got the first pair (brown) on a great sale like 2 years ago. Now that the price has changed I'm sad, but I thinking I'll just pay full price for a pair in black. They look very cheap and the fit is AWFUL. I am an 11w in shoes/boots but these were very tight, not even close to being a wide. The boot is a wide calf boot which I knew but the calves are HUGE! I am 5'8 and the boot came up to the middle of my knee making them look awkward and I'll fitting. What makes me even madder is I have to pay $8.99 for a return fee to the company, not Amazon, plus a $4.98 UPS drop off fee so I'm losing money because of these awful boots. Read more
Second pair I've bought first I got the xwide and to big on my calf then I bought the reg wide still to big on my calf really no difference in the two but just reg boot does not fit my calf so I'm having trouble finding a good fit Read more
These boots actually do fit a wide calf. My calfs are 18in around and these fit perfectly. If you have a wide calf me, then definitely try these boots out. You'll love how they fit. I invested time into searching for boots that would fit. I wear a size 12w, but have discovered many foreign manufacturers will cut the boot smaller, and then the boot fits poorly, or not at all. I ordered a 12ww hoping my search for properly fitting boots would come to an end. The joke was on me. I ordered THREE pair of boots, and this was the worst! I struggled to even get my foot in the boot. The boot isn’t even zipped up - the zipper is another dislike. My fingers are rough and chapped from pulling on the zipper tab. I have no other choice than to return these boots. Right now I want to scream because I have the money to buy boots, and I can’t find any that fit!!! Read more
These are very pretty and the shoe part is comfortable, but the calf is so wide and so tall that they're impossible for me to wear. I'm not small @ 5'9 & 250+, but the boot shaft hits the back of my knee, in the middle of the bend, and would rub like crazy, and the calf is so wide I can get my whole arm in the boot with my leg. They're going back. I can't wear them, but if you are very tall and have the kind of build that is bottom/leg heavy, these might work for you. Read more

I ordered these boots in size 11W, which is what I usually wear for the last decade. Unfortunately, they were extremely tight. Though I am an Amazon Prime Member, they charged $5.61 for the return, for some reason. This makes the benefits of Amazon Prime, Bogus. They should pay the costumer for the unnecessary return, considering, the dimensions of their product is not respectful to an actual American size 11W. Very cheap material. Read more
