My mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas and what I really wanted was a desk that could double for working and work as a vanity, too. This desk works absolutely perfect with the "Hasipu Vanity Mirror with Lights, 24" x 22" Hollywood Mirror" (that we also purchased on Amazon). Christmas hasn't happened yet, but my mom asked my husband to assemble it in advance to make sure all pieces were there in the return window- It took a few hours to assemble, and my husband used his drill to speed things along, but it is awesome! It probably would have taken me twice as long to assemble because I'm not good at that stuff, it's definitely a labor of love to assemble either way. It has 2 versions for assembly, depending on which side you want the "tower" on, which I loved the customization. The only minor "difference" from the stock photo is the underlight looks purple in stock photo and came blue instead. This size was perfect for my small pc build in a smaller room. Only issues (that i was aware of from other reviews) were the fact the monitor stand comes loose but that's an easy fix with double sided tape or drilling it from underneath to secure it. I went with the tape in case I want to remove it in the future that way I won't have 2 random holes in the desk. Next was the hooks on the board.. they're too small to hold certain things like in the promotional picture like the controller and I realized after a while after hooking my headset on it, it wasnt the proper size to hold it as the hooks tip/point left a deep impression in the middle of the top cushion. That's also an easy fix tho as you can buy larger hooks that can still fit or you can use the board to put decoration instead and utilize the drawers to hold your controllers/headset. To be transparent, the main desk portion came slightly chipped but I think that's was more of a shipping issue as the box came slightly open/ripped, so im not gonna doc points for that. I would recommend getting a desk pad as if you lean on it, over time it'll wear on your elbows/forearms and maybe consider getting your own corner covers if that's a concern for you. Overall build time took about 2hrs, it's pretty sturdy, and I had no issues with the built in plugs on the side of desk. It’s a great purchase!!! My 8 year old loves it and it is a perfect size for her to grow into it as she gets older. It is also a perfect size for her room…doesn’t take up too much space but is large enough for her to put all her school and art supplies. It only took my husband a couple of hours to put it together.
