This Conair dryer is solid. It has good power and dries my hair pretty fast without feeling too harsh. I use it with the diffuser attachment on low heat for my 3a–3b curls, and it helps reduce frizz while keeping my curls defined. The design is lightweight and easy to handle, and I like having multiple heat and speed settings to work with. The cool shot button is actually useful for setting styles, especially if I’m doing a quick refresh. It’s nothing overly fancy, but it gets the job done well—and for the price, it’s a great value. A must! I have very thick hair and have tried expensive hair dryers. They a no better than this dryer. This one lasts. Motor doesn’t burn out. Has a cooling button which is important when you are spending a lot of time on your blow out. The weight is not too heavy , which is great since i have to spend so much time for each use. Good hair dryer. There are two things I think could make it a GREAT hair dryer. 1. I dont know if I can do this, but I'd like to up the rating I gave this in July. I gave this dryer a 4 star. I'd like to add a 1/2 to that, making it 4 1/2. I dinged it a bit on the control placements, but after using it for a while I find no problems at all! For a item I use 363 dats a year-( sick days not blow drying hair)-, it does exactly what it is suppose to do, efficiently, comfortably. The price is reasonable as well. Still, the only thing I could add to make it better is a swivel on the end of the cord so you dont bend it when putting away. The dryer is powerful and settings are great. I use this blow dryer for over an hour every day on various things (caregiving.) We have gone through a lot of blow dryers! This has become our go-to brand and model. The motor is longer lasting and lighter than the other models. We have a lot of lint and dust in the air and must keep the inlet screen clean to prolong the blower's lifespan. I do this using a Q-Tip to remove the debris from the screen at least once a week. A vacuum cleaner also works. That is the worst feature of this blow dryer- the screen is not as easy to clean as most models, but it's a trade off that works best for us. Read more

Plugged in dryer and within 1 minutes it completely shut off. Never got warm let alone hot. Double checked to make a fuse didn't blow. All other appliances work within the outlet used. This product is garbage. Not worth the money nor the time it will take to return. Purw rubbish. Read more
