I've had this item a while now, so I feel its time to give it a review. Its made of metal, biggest plus. In the age of warping, cheap plastics, lights and all this other stuff you don't need this product was simple. Couple pieces of metal held together by more metal tubing and metal bolts. So this thing is sturdy. I saw a few people complaining about how hard it was to put together. Sure if you aren't good with your hands you might need some help. But if you work with small items or put things together a lot, this is like any other piece of equipment you've put together, with the bonus of being all metal. Now you might need your own allen wrenchs or hex tip bits to make it easier because the wrenches that came with were small for my big hands but they got the job done. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this controller stand for myself and I loved it. It was easy to put together and took a out 5 minutes. Very sturdy and well made. Can hold my Xbox 360/one/one S or X controllers. It also held my corded Xbox one off brand controllers too as well as my Steel Series Nimbus+ controller for my PC. I do not own any playstation system so I cannot say if any of their controllers will fit or sit properly on here. I loved mine so much, I ended up getting another one for my nephew and he loves his as well. The only down side to this product is that it's advertised to come with screws that match the color of the actual rack. So white screws for the white, black screws for black. I purchased the black version, but it came with silver screws. I've looked at other customer uploaded pictures and it seems that the white version also comes with silver screws. This is the only reason I'm not giving it four stars instead of five. I do not appreciate being given a product that is not as advertised. So this just arrived and I was able to put it together in about five minutes. It comes with everything you need, including two allen wrenches so you can hold backup when you're turning your screws, but I opted to use my screwdriver because I had the allen bit. The product seems to be of a high quality and it's very easy to assemble as long as you ignore the instructions and put two screws in at once instead of one because the rods that hold the assembly are really smooth and will slide between your fingers if you try to hold it and put one screw on at a time. The silica gel pieces slide on and rest securely on the rack and do an excellent job of protecting your controller from being scratched by the rack. The rack fits my Xbox One controller like a glove and my headset rests naturally on the back but the PS4 controller does not, but that is how it is shown in the picture. While the Xbox controller rests comfortable between the hook and the backing, the Playstation must rest on top of the hook by the thumbstick radius, otherwise the thumbsticks will be pushed slightly up, which could cause damage to the controller in the long term by weakening the spring. The balancing on the rack is perfect so you can have just the headset on the back without controllers in the front to counterbalance, and because the feet extend back as far as the headset setting goes, it will not tip over. It is a nice looking controller and headset holder. The White matches my XBox White and the controllers really well. It requires assembly which I was surprised by. Assembly was a little hard but any gamer should have the skillset to do it with relative ease. It has these rubber covers to protect the controllers, they can slip off if not careful, but once you get used to it, it becomes muscle memory.
