I was looking for something that fit my "chair and a half" reading chair and small space beautifully, and this ottoman fit the bill. It's a nice looking one despite being fairly inexpensive. I got the dark gray fabric and it looks just as pictured. I looked around for inexpensive but sturdy ottomans that don't look inexpensive, and this one is great. I can put my feet up at the approx 20 inch height that my large reading chair requires, and it has a good amount of space inside for a small throw or anything else. The fabric on top is sturdy enough that I can sometimes rest a glass of water on it (not for long, but it won't fall over if not disturbed). The legs were easy to assemble, even for a not-handy person like myself. I didn't even have to yell for help once. :) This was a great purchase for a large chair and a small room; it fits the space beautifully and is functional and light enough to shove in a corner when I don't want it around. I ordered these to replace a pair of square storage ottomans from another vendor that unbelievably started to fall apart in 2 weeks, with material was so thin that it started to tear and the stitching was pulling out. I was happy to find differences out of the box from the prior ottomans. These have real wood feet (the others were plastic). The material (faux leather) is MUCH thicker than the set I returned and the pillowed top and round style look so much classier. I also overlooked that by having round ottomans, you don't need to perfectly "align" them like square ones to a rotating lounge chair. The only slight complaint is that the tops only align by 4 rubber stops and one of the pair had ones that were not as well installed so there was about an inch of play on the top. I called their stellar support who immediately shipped a replacement top. It also was loose and I found the stops are just held in with a philips screw. I removed them and easily adjusted the spacing and all is good. The play might not bother some, but if it does - the fix is easy and if you have any issues - their support is amazing so I still highly recommend these. Read more
