I just received yesterday and am already very pleased with this purchase. One purpose for buying was to have extra seating, another was to replace the coffee table I gave up for a 3-seat reclining sofa (middle seat doesn't recline). With this I have extra seating, a 'coffee table' by flipping the top (with handles provided), and a footrest for the middle(hu)man. The width doesn't interfere with the reclining seats because it's just narrow enough to fit between, yet feels larger and will hold a throw blanket or two and other items. There's no assembly required, just open the bottom of the box (as instructed), then flip the box and remove the protective covers. Since the top fits snugly into the base (doesn't slide around), the handles are used to pull the tray/cushion up to flip to the other side. I wouldn't use the handles to drag the ottoman around; while they seem well attached, I doubt that's an intended use. It only weighs 23 lbs so it's heavy enough to stay in place, but light enough to move when needed. It feels solid and well constructed. The 'leather' covering feels thick, not cheap and plastic-y, and does resemble the look and feel of leather. As far as the color (not a negative comment, just FYI), if you're looking for a true navy blue, this isn't quite that dark, think navy with a touch of royal. I would definitively recommend! I usually don’t write reviews, but this Ottoman is such a great value that I wanted to write something. The quality is high; its impressively sturdy, durable, looks great, has ample storage, works great when the top is flipped acting as a tray table, and comes assembled! I have a cat that scratches and jumps around on the furniture sometimes and it has yet to puncture the cover which speaks to its high durability. I dont know the weight limit, but it supports st least 200 pounds when I stand on it to change lightbulbs. I was worried it would look cheap because of the price, but it actually makes my other furniture look cheap by comparison. Similar quality items in stores would cost 4x as much. One of of my favorite buys ever, definitely give it a chance, you wont be disappointed. Read more

This is a GREAT deal. For the money its obviously not top notch quality but it looks top notch quality and withstands a lot. That's coming from a Mom of two boys, 8 and 2. My Eight Year Old eats on this every morning for breakfast. It still looks brand new and we've had it a little over a Month. Not many things last a Month when you have kids at the ages I do. I purchased the Gray but it really has more purple-ish undertones that come through. Not sure how consistent the coloring is but my gray was definitely more purple toned. Not complaining though, it fits in quite nicely with our decor. Practical Storage that's looks high quality but with mediocre quality standards. I put this in my walk in closet. I'm one of those weirdos that considers a walk in closet as a room and therefore must be decorated LOL. The bright yellow is a great compliment to the tropical palate of the loo and closet. Great place to store my orthotics and insoles and out of season slippers. It's surprisingly roomy. I had a square one that I bought for about $50 a few years back. My cat scratched the surface to pieces. Time for a new one. However, I was shocked at the current prices for the same type of ottoman, be in on Amazon or elsewhere. I live in an apartment and this checked all the boxes, sturdy, storage and cover that is a table in reverse. I was a little hesitant because this one is wider, a rectangle and I was afraid it would be too big. Honestly, it is just a little bigger and I've come to enjoy a slightly larger storage area and table to eat on. Really does not take up that much more room at all. Also I got white. I was nervous it would be bright white. I really wanted beige. This is an off-white color and blends nicely with everything. There are a couple of slight creases on the top but hardly noticable. For the price, absolutely cannot go wrong. Also, it is light weight and I am 67 yrs. old. I can easily move it around and lift it off the rug to vacuum. Read more
