This is excellent quality. I have purchased large roasting pans in the past (at least a dozen times) but they were all fails or cheaply made. I'm a retired chef so I appreciate workhorse cookware. After being burnt by yet another pan (purchased locally), I scoured this website and took a chance on this one. I LOVE it. It's tough, durable, dishwasher safe, distributes heat well and handled the Thanksgiving turkey with ease. One thing I liked was that the handles don't stick out so the pan fits nicely in the oven. The price is excellent as well. Here's the deal: In cookware I will only use a few times a year, there's no way I'm paying $400 for a high end roaster.. Finally, I have a great roaster. Beautiful, heavy duty roaster

I've been wanting to get a small roasting pan for years to replace the one my wife inexplicably threw out after the nonstick surface of the rack peeled off. I never found one that I really liked until now. This one doesn't have the sloping sides my old one did but I'll live with that. I decided to go stainless steel instead of nonstick since nonstick just doesn't last. This one (14" x 12") is a good size for everything I might roast including a normal size turkey (no birdzilla for me) and it's just a tad bigger than my old one. I like that the rack has no cross bars on the working area since those intersections are notoriously difficult to clean. I haven't used it yet but plan to soon. It's clear that this is well made and will outlast me. The reason I took off one star was that the first one I received had scratches on the rounded edges of the bottom of the pan. I got a replacement via Amazon in one day and the replacement was pristine. Such a beautiful pan! I can't wait to try it out. Read more
