We live at the beach so I’ve been through a lot of sunblock/screen products. Coola doesn’t leave a sticky or slimy or greasy feeling on your skin. Wipes off your hands easily. The only thing I’m not too keen on is it comes out white (because it’s mineral) and you have to really rub it in. I’ll use this one if I’m going to be in the sun all day. I purchased this sunscreen to use specifically for the time I drive home from my gym after working out. I do not use it for any other purpose. This sunscreen is very lightweight, therefore making it very easy to apply to the skin, including easy to apply on facial hair / a beard. It tends to spray out like a mist. It leaves a heavy white cast when first applying, then it begins to settle and the white cast is not as noticeable. The white cast is more noticeable on facial hair / a beard. Once the product begins to dry onto your skin, it feels sticky. There is a slight scent to it, despite the overview of the product indicating it is unscented. The product contains 14.5% zinc oxide. I recommend this sunscreen for outdoor activities, incidental sun exposure, and driving in your vehicle, including long road trips. It is not ideal for everyday use due to its noticeable white cast. I’ve tried a lot of mineral sunblocks. I’m sensitive to chemicals and hate the feel of the traditional spray on. I bought this for a trip to Puerto Rico and fell in love. It's just okay. Giving 3 stars bc I am allergic to every sunscreen except for zinc oxide, and this one didn't give me hives. Although it was burning my face after I rubbed it on. Probably won't purchase again. Like the reviews say, it does go on very white but it does go away once you spend a good amount of time rubbing it in. However, if you sweat or go swimming, it is very hard to reapply and does not rub in once this happens. I swam for an hour in direct FL sunlight in June, and then dried off. It just did not rub into my skin very well after that and had a horrible streaky reapply. Did not feel safe going back into the sun for an extended period with that coverage. This is the reason why i wouldn't repurchase. As a swimmer, this just doesn't work for me. Luckily there are cheaper brands where this isn't as much of an issue. Read more

I searched high a low for a mineral sunscreen ( my son is allergic to the other type) that would blend into his skin without the white hue. This product delivers!!!! Sprays on and rubs in quickly with no hue. It’s not the cheapest product but for people with darker skin it’s worth the price. Read more
