This cooling mask is nice, but the effects for me just aren't super long-lasting. PROS: After leaving it in the freezer overnight, the initial impression was amazing. The cold instantly gave relief to not only my eyes but also my forehead. It was an impressive noticeable cold that really helped with a feeling of relief for my tired eyes, as well as with my head that had started to ache from staring at a screen too long. The mask is a nice silky texture that is comfortable for me to wear. The weight of the mask is also soothing, and it helps to keep it against my head when laying down without me needing to wrap it tightly around my head. It's not too heavy, but it has just enough weight to it to help keep things in place when reclined. The hook and loop closure works well to keep it secure around my head when not just laying down with it over my face. It also does a good job of blocking bright light when on. It's not light proof due to light leaks in places like the bridge of my nose, but it greatly reduces what light can get to my eye, and with my eyes closed I don't see any light bright enough to get through my eyelids. CONS: It only gave that wonderful feeling of relief for about 13.5 minutes before becoming too warm to help. Which for being in the freezer all night is just not long enough for me. I'd need 2 or 3 of these in rotation to get the amount of cold I need to really help me. I know it says limit cold sessions to 10 to 15 minutes on the listing, but I have always needed longer than that. The heat effects only lasted a bit longer, about 15 minutes for me. I have electronic heated eye masks that go for longer, so I will most likely use those instead of this mask for heat. The directions are a little confusing. On the listing and mask, it says leave in the freezer. On the written directions that come with the mask, it says leave in the refrigerator. I chose the freezer like the mask and listing suggest. Both the written ones with the mask and the ones on the mask say to chill for 30 minutes or more (using a greater than or equal to symbol), but the listing says chill for at least an hour before use. So that is another inconsistency. I found the 13.5 minute relief time only worked for me when I had chilled the mask in the freezer for at least 2 hours. This came with no bag to help protect it in the refrigerator or freezer. Most cold packs I have gotten come with a durable press to seal plastic bag to keep the cold pack from touching anything else in the freezer while it chills. This is especially important since this one goes on the face and eyes, but mine came with no such bag. I have to use a gallon storage baggy meant to hold food to keep mine safe when chilling it. Which isn't nearly as durable as the bags that come with most cold packs. While I am sure this works very well for people who need just 10 or so minutes of cold to feel refreshed and relieved, but I need a good bit more than that. So for me, this mask just wasn't as effective as I had hoped. However, it does last for the 10 to 15 minutes suggested time for cold sessions. The media could not be loaded. At the time of placing the order this was $20 which I feel is very reasonable. This eye mask even though it's called icoobreeze, is not limited to cold therapy. It can be used for warm therapy as well which is great because when I have a headache I like something warm. Usually not cool. When my eyes are puffy or if I'm having difficulty with my allergies or it's just a hot day but I want to be outside, this is a fantastic gel mask. The material is soft and smooth. The stitches are even and the seams lay flat. There's a 3-in wide section of velcro and loop to attach around your head and it is adjustable for 6 in so it'll accommodate a lot of different people. This warms up quickly in the microwave. I actually used just 70% power and microwded it at 10 second intervals till the heat I wanted it to be. As for chilling it in the freezer. I found that the gel inside gets very cold at about 30 minutes but the longer I leave it in there the better and longer use. I get out of it. This lays flat, easy to travel, especially if you want to throw it into a plastic bag and keep it in your cooler if you're going to be working out on the field or going to be at the beach, I was working in our garden in August when it was super super hot and this was great to actually wrap around my neck to cool me down, it's that easy to use. I've used this for several weeks and I've had no complaints. So far nothing has unraveled nothing's coming apart and I've been able to clean it with soapy water and lots of rinsing. Read more

Loving this 2 in 1 eye mask. I gave it a few days to air out cause the smell form being in a plastic. Nothing too crazy but since it would be on my eyes for some time I wanted a nice soft scent rather the packaging smell. The mask itself is so smooth & comfy. I like that there's no need to remove any gel beads & can put the whole mask in the microwave. Easy to use & I keep it stored in my freezer top where it's not the coldest. It feels soothing my daughter will use it too when her eyes are feeling a little heavy. Nice relief. Adjustable sizing so even bigger sized heads like my husband would be able to use it with no problem. Read more
