I purchased a two-pack queen-size. They were extremely difficult to remove from the packaging case (without another person's assistance) to the point that I had to get scissors and cut the packaging case to be able to remove them. Once I was able to remove the plastic wrapping from the pillow, the pillow fluffed up nicely. First I tried it as a hugging pillow, then I tried it as a sleeping pillow (I am a side sleeper). This is a firm pillow. I would rate it as an 8, on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being ultra plush, and 10 being extra firm. It is not the most ideal as a hugging pillow, as a softer pillow would be better, but it still did well. I feel that it did pretty well as a sleeping pillow, sleeping on my side, as its on the firmer side, and I felt I was not sinking into the pillow as I would with a softer pillow. There was little smell coming out of the packaging and was almost non-existent by the time I used it to sleep. I have decided to keep this pillow due to its high quality materials. Read more

When I got these pillows out of their packaging, I was super disappointed because they were super flat and looked as if they were half filled. I fluffed them up and they were still flat. BUT overnight they grew and the next morning they were perfect! And I do not smell anything in them like the other reviews say. Very supportive. Firm but soft. You can take out the stuffing if it’s too firm as well. Definitely worth the money! Read more

My husband and I both think these pillows are very comfortable! Which for me is really great, since I have been trying to find a comfortable pillow for several years without success, until now. Our only complaint is the strong chemical smell of the memory foam filling. When they arrived, I opened them up and let them air for 48 hours and fluffed them in the dryer per the instructions. They still had a strong odor, so I removed the zippered covers, washed and air dryed them over night. I hoped between that and letting the thin cloth sack containing the memory foam, air out another night, the smell would be gone, but it wasn't. We decided to sleep on them anyway. UPDATE: We have been sleeping on them now for 9 nights and the smell is finally lessening. The initial fluff the pillows had from putting them in the dryer is now gone and we are wishing more memory foam had came with them. We both started out using all the foam they came with, but after sleeping on them for 9 nights, they have flattened. I re-fluff them with my hands every morning when I make the bed, but it doesn't last long. We wish they had come with more memory foam, so they could be more supportive. Read more
