I have had a hard time finding a decent car mount for my new Fold 7. My car has no good place to mount anything where you want it. To place the phone where it works best I needed to mount it to the side of the console. Unfortunately, neither of the included ball mounts allows for the full 90 degree turn necessary for my unusual case. The included mounts are angled perfectly for mounting to the dash instead. That is most common and will work fine in most cases. Fortunately, this mount uses a very standard 17mm ball. A quick Amazon search and I found the perfect right angle ball mount for a few bucks. There are also tons of various 17mm ball mounts available for any situation making this mount extremely versatile and customizable . I attached the 90 degree ball, stuck it to the console and the phone is exactly where I want it. It clicks and centers perfectly every time, it is very secure and doesn't bounce while driving. I'm a minimalist in my car and hate big ugly accessories. So I really like the compactness of this mount, it's not an eyesore when the phone is not installed. It looks like it belongs there. I also like the fact that this also has a built in Qi2 Charger. Now my phone is (fast) charging the whole time it's in the mount. No cords to mess with each time, just click and done. A couple notes of importance.. YES, you can use this mount on most phones so long as the phone has a magsafe ring built-in (newer apple) or you are using a magsafe case (android and others). My fold 7 with a thin magsafe case snaps to this mount very solidly. And while the specs for Qi2 chargers don't include automatic centering of the coil, my phone centers perfectly every time. Your mileage may vary if you use a magsafe case, but the compactness of the charging head should allow it to work on just about any magsafe case without interference with lenses and such. Be sure to clean the installation area with pure alchohol before installing. Press on and hold firmly for 30 seconds. Do not mount anything to the ball for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to set properly. Mine has been fine for several days now in the hot Florida sun, we'll see. Overall I have zero complaints and I am completely satisfied with this mounting solution. So much so that I'm ordering another for my other vehicle. Now I have my cupholder back for cups! Read more

This is the best MagSafe mount I've tried. The magnet is super strong; my iPhone 15 Pro Max (in a MagSafe case) doesn't budge, even on bumpy roads.
