this reminded me of the product from years ago , the little green machine or something like that. i needed something for spot cleaning the rugs in the house and my car upholstery. i love how compact this is, and it is surprisingly lightweight, even with the cleaning fluid in it, it is still easy to carry. the attachments make it so easy to clean the little areas that need cleaning. this is not for very large areas but it does work great on furniture and area rugs and mattresses. it does a great job sucking up the excess moisture and not leaving the area soaking wet. you can use whatever cleaning solution you want so of course the stain lifting ability depends alot on what type of cleaning agent you use, but this does a great job sucking up all the yucky mess. easy to set up and fill and the instructions were helpful in figuring out the different settings and what all the attachments are for. overall quality is really nice, it is very comparable to bigger name brands. the price is very affordable as well. it looks nice and you can really see the dirty water and what is being pulled out. What an awesome machine. So easy to use and so easy to fill/empty. The cord is long so you can reach long distances and the hose is easy to handle and really suck up any water it puts down. I bought this with the main goal of cleaning the carpet in my car, and I started with one of my floor mats thinking it would be a quick job I could knock out in like 15 minutes. Nope. The cleaning tool head is really small, so you’re basically doing tiny little passes over and over like you’re coloring in the mat with a crayon, and the suction just isn’t strong enough to pull stuff out efficiently. It technically works, but it works slow, and it took me about an hour just to get one floor mat looking decent, and even then it felt like I did most of the work with patience instead of power. Build quality feels lightweight and not super durable, and it’s fine for small touch-ups, but for the money the value isn’t there if you’re buying it for car detailing since it doesn’t have the suction or head size to make the job easier.
