I’m not going to lie, I hesitated because of the price. I’ve tried so many rechargeable cordless lamps before this, and almost all of them either dim over time, stop holding a charge, or just randomly die after a few months. This one doesn’t. The battery life is genuinely impressive. It lasts, it holds brightness consistently, and it doesn’t slowly fade into disappointment like the others I’ve tried. In that sense, it might actually be worth the price, because it works and keeps working and you don't have to re buy it. Design-wise, it’s very cool. Sleek, glossy (the red one), slightly space-age. It feels sculptural rather than like a cheap portable light. The touch controls are smooth, the dimming is seamless, and being able to adjust the warmth makes it great for both focused tasks and cozy nighttime lighting. Also, the packaging bag? Iconic. It makes it feel giftable and portable. So yes, it’s pricier than most cordless lamps. But compared to the pile of disappointing ones I’ve gone through, this one actually earns its spot. Read more

My wife's review: The rechargeable cordless lamp from the Light Worthy Store arrives in a box suitable for gifting. Inside, the lamp is packed inside its carry bag, along with the power charger, card and instruction booklet. Even a ribbon if you want to put a bow on it. The lamp is white, with an orangey-red zippered and padded travel bag. It comes with a power charger. This is a portable lamp suitable for camping or outdoors, maybe on a deck. The lamp has two power buttons, on top of the lamp and on the base. It is dimmable and has a range of warm and cool color tones. Its 5000mAh battery can be operated at three levels; 2700, 4000 and 5700K. The power bank does last a good deal of time (about nine hours if used at full intensity, obviously longer the lower the light level used. Aesthetically, it's a nice looking portable lamp. The base is weighted so it doesn't feel tippy. The storage bag is nice for both protection and ease of packing. It looks and feels like a quality portable lamp. But wowza, is this thing overpriced. At just below $100 you could purchase a set of two or three similar lights with the same 5000mAh battery - although they don't come with the handy travel bag. Really love the lamp. My wife has one similar one from another really popular brand but I like this one more and here is why: The light shines downward, so at night when I turn the light on I feel a little less blinded while at my bedside table. The button to turn on the lamp is at the base of the lamp not at the top like our other one. This is better as reaching up and out of bed is harder on the other lamp but of this lamp it is great. That made this much more functional. Using a USB C input plug is also nice. The other lamp I has used a proprietary charging base which looks nice but if that breaks we'd have to purchase another. USB C being the standard is better. Read more
