One of the key features of this vacuum is that it can telescope, and all the parts are replaceable and affordable. Had this for a while and I am happy with it. It cleans everything we (adult, toddler, 2 cats) throw at it. Cat fur tends to collect in the corners, and the vacuum head handles corners well. I got this to replace an old Dyson stick with a burned up motor. My home has very little carpet, and this vacuum cleans my floors just as well as the Dyson. It runs at full power longer than the Dyson did at low power. The build quality is great for the price and the accessories were adequate. It has a mount if you want to stick it on the wall. The light... is there. I would have preferred a white light, but it's not worth knocking a star off. The canister and motor are smaller. This makes it easier to handle, but also means more trips to the garbage can and MAY affect it's effectiveness on thicker carpet (I only have area rugs and low pile carpet in my bedrooms).
