This hall effect keyboard is amazing, the response time, rapid trigger, and actuation time can be fine tuned for different situations, the knob can be programmed, and the added game mode feature is quite nice. I personally swapped the keycaps for some more transparent ones while transferring the dampening foam from the included spacebar onto my old spacebar keycap. The sound is decent with my old keycaps although the keycaps that come included do sound better. The keyboard is heavy, which I like, and the aluminum chasis is sturdy. The bevels are quite nice and add a nice look to the keyboard. The included cushion is okay and could be better. I like the overall flat look to the case, where the case is flat and thin, while the switches and keycaps seem to be lifted a little higher than usual. The knob is a little loose, although the clicking sounds it makes as you turn it makes it satisfying to use. One major downside that I noticed is not on the keyboard itself but rather the rbg lighting software. It was buggy for about a week, the lighting would not work properly and game mode lights would automatically turn red, even while I had custom lighting turned on. I've owned many keyboards over the years, from budget models to premium builds, but the Corsair K70 PRO TKL RGB absolutely blows them all away. This is, without a doubt, the best keyboard I’ve ever used. From the moment I unboxed it, I could feel the quality. The pre-lubed, Hall Effect, MGX, Hyperdrive, adjustable switches are buttery smooth and incredibly responsive, and the simultaneous SOCD and rapid trigger features give me a competitive edge that I didn’t even know I was missing. The RGB lighting is stunning, the build is rock solid, and the tenkeyless layout is perfect for maximizing desk space without sacrificing performance. This thing is like typing on silk. The game mode button is Soo nice.. Automatically setting it at the highest response rate. And the sound this makes is very low, not sharp or loud. But so satisfying. The extra features of this keyboard are really great. Being able to set the depth at wich the keys respond and reset. Pretty game changing the colors look really good. And for me personally the wrist rest is really comfortable. I got this on sale for like 140. It was a lot more than I was going to spend on a keyboard but I’m glad I did it. And would do it again also icue is a little complicated, but in a very good way. It can do anything you can think of or imagine. So yes there’s a learning curve. This thing is awesome. Integration for Icue out the box, quiet keys, and awesome color display. I also enjoy the game mode button, and the size of the keyboard. Worth the Black Friday deal that is going on right now! I am no pro tech guy, but for the average gamer/student who may want something a little more intense than a standard keyboard, this thing does the job perfectly. I have dabbled into trying magnetic keyboards to see how I would like them. An expensive endeavor, for sure, but worth it. I have the following HE / Magnetic boards: ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX MADE68 Pro EWEADN Battle68 IROK MU68 EPOMAKER HE75 GK GAMAKAY TK68 HE Out of all of them, the only ones that stood out the best was the Corsair K70 Pro TKL and ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX. See they have to fit specific characteristics for me. For gaming easy enabling SOCD and Rapid Trigger. Both of those keyboards do that with no problem. The ASUS ROG even more so than the Corsair, but I am not much of an iCUE hater as some; probably because I have built my whole gaming arsenal around Corsair, so I have learned to tolerate the pain (cries on the inside :D). Additionally, the other characteristic is the typing sound and feel. This and the ASUS ROG have this in bunches. Both come pre-lubed and have a great creamy and thocky sound to it. I require this because from my keyboards. Plus these keyboards meet my gaming and productivity needs, as some of my builds are used for work and play. This keyboard matches those requirements. I was not sure if I needed another Corsair keyboard as I have entirely too many as it is, but this was about as perfect for my requirements.
