COSTWAY Retro Countertop Microwave Oven 0 7Cu ft 700-Watt High Energy Efficiency 5 Micro Power Delayed Start Function

I was looking for a smallest microwave that is not expensive and doesn't look 'plastic/cheap' on the counter, available in shiny black w chrome accents to match my stuffs. I've only had this one for a couple of months but i'm pretty happy with it so far. This thing is cute, small footprint on the counter, lighter weight, has a vintage look (there are more vintagy looking ones out there, but they for some reason are not black, or have worse reviews), works fine, fits a plate, heats food. The way you set the time is weird at first, but becomes natural really quickly. Push the Instant Start, it puts on 1 minute and starts going, if you want more or less time, twist the big knob to increase or decrease time (clockwise =increase).. Piece of cake, becomes really intuitive. I really have not touched any other buttons on it bc this works fine for me. I highly recommend this microwave. It doesn’t take a lot of space and the perfect size. Not only that, the color is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos provided. Very good for the price. The gold trim adds a layer of sophistication and it is tiny so it doesn’t take up a ton of counter-space. The knob for time setting is really convenient too. The only negative is it doesn’t heat as quickly as more powerful microwaves I have used in the past. Read more

I have a full sized kitchen, but wanted to keep most of my counter space clear - As I only ever use the most basic functions of a microwave, this unit met my needs and takes up little space. I really like the retro look, although not as much as the Nostalgia brand. The interior has just enough room for a dinner plate and there is just enough height for a Mason or Atlas canning jar (I used these to freeze leftover soups, etc.) Again, very basic functions, but if that's all you ever use your microwave for, then you won't miss the bells and whistles other units have. This also looks nice in my contemporary kitchen inside my 1850 post and beam farm house. The only flaw is the clock runs fast and gains a couple of minutes every few weeks. Read more

I ordered this during prime … it was not on sale, but there was one identical to it that was $30 cheaper that I did not get because this one said that it was gold versus rose gold. It also came a few days late so when I finally got it, prime was obviously over and the other microwave just like it was back up to the same price. I was very disappointed because I really wanted the buttons and handle to be gold versus rose gold. I kept it because it is small and takes up a little space on the countertop, which is what I needed. Read more

9/22/20 New edit: trying to return this product is a nightmare. They want a video of your NON WORKING microwave in order to try to trouble shoot.—-a microwave that won’t even power up. They barely respond to any correspondence and send emails in the middle of the night that they expect immediate response to.. I filed a claim with Amazon and was told by the seller that they would refund my money but only after removing the complaint. I’ve removed the complaint and will report back in this review as to how long it takes the seller to actually refund my money. Edit: DO NOT BUY THIS!!! we’ve had this microwave JUST over a month, conveniently past the return date by a few days, and it’s started making this horrid sound in the mechanism that turns the table. DO NOT BUY! There’s no returning it at this point and I’m stuck with an overpriced piece of junk I’ll be selling in my next yard sale for $10. You’re better off buying a better machine from a local retailer with a longer return policy. OG review.: Very cute compact microwave. The black and copper is really sophisticated looking, but this thing is weird to use. I love this. We do not use a microwave very often so the size for us is perfect. That would be the only downfall for people that need a larger size. Works great and looks fabulous in my newly redone Rose gold and black themed kitchen. Read more

Just received my new aqua microwave and it’s practically perfect! I needed to move my micro out of the kitchen and it became visible from the living room, so I wanted one that would make a statement. It makes a GREAT statement! (See pictures) Set up was quick and easy and, yeah, the cord reaches the plug-in. My Fiesta-ware plate fits,too! I have used it to heat a cup of water and it did well. The only other need I have for it will be warming leftovers. I think it will work for that just as it did with the water . Read more
