I LOVE how this boots look on. They are easily the cutest boots I have owned. They are form fitting and snug in the right places. They are very comfortable and the heel/platform doesn't feel awkward or overly heavy! My only complaint about this boot is that the leather feels very fake and I am dubious they are going to last longer than 6 months, but only time will tell. I used to wear this style of boot in my late teens and 20s, and I’m thrilled to see it making a comeback. Now in my mid-40s, I love that I can enjoy the look again—and these boots are just as comfortable as they are stylish. I normally wear a size 9, but I sized up by half to allow room for thicker socks in the fall and winter, and I’m glad I did. These chunky sole boots are nicely constructed. The faux leather is soft and supple, partially lined with a very lightweight fleece-type fabric. The calf size is average (not suitable for large calf sizes). I would likely add a cushioned insole for a little more comfort. I also wish the zipper went the full length of the leg. Otherwise, these are close to perfect for a classic, black, chunky sole boot. Read more

I love these boots. They have a chunky lug sole, with a low heel that is very comfortable for being on your feet and walking for hours! The inside half zipper does works smoothly. They are stretchy and very form fitting so wearing anything other than sheer tights or trousers style socks may be noticeable through the boots. Being form fitted and snug on my leg, I would not recommend if you have wider calves. Very fashionable with skirts of any length. Read more
