Great for my xtra sensitive skin. Thicker than most Castille, so a little goes a long way! Mint aroma is nice but not as crisp & "awakening" as previous brand. Once I added additional oil, it was perfect for MY specific, theraputic needs. Aside from muscle & joint pain,I have chronic migraine, as well as breathing & skin issues from Scleroderma. I benefit from that tingling/ penetrating skin sensation on my scalp & skin, & "open the airways" results, so my need for a very strong Peppermint are probably more than most. As this castile comes before I alter the strength, the original peppermint & smoothness of their pure product is still pleasing. I must credit them for obstaining from using ingredients derived from coconuts which are still freely being used in competitors products. The use of coconuts not only has a negative impact on our enviornment but also contributes to the inhumane treatment of the monkeys used to collect the coconuts. These animals are severly neglected & overworked to the point of exhaustion or death. This is why I stopped using my previous brand and began searching for a company that had no part in this unethical practice. I was very pleased to find Cove to be a compassionate company who does not compromise thier quality for the sake of profit. I love this soap, which exceeds expectations. In general, soap dismantles those viruses which consist of a capsule made of lipids, with rna inside. The soap destroys the capsule part of the virus, disabling it. So soap is good! I am using this to: - clean kitchen cabinets - doorknobs - countertops - floors (linoleum, wood, ceramic tile) - faucets and sinks - Hand washing and personal hygiene - washing dishrags and other textiles like lingerie - wash produce - etc When appropriate I then follow up with bleach solution to make sure these things are disinfected to the best of my ability. I love love love this soap! It is so clear and beautiful! Nice consistency. One can work up a luscious lather. It rinses beautifully and leaves no residue. It is gentle enough not to irritate skin or destroy household surfaces surfaces. But it lifts the dirt wonderfully. A little goes a long way. It doesn’t have any odor, chemical or otherwise. Currently $16.99 for a monster 33.8 ounce bottle, Cove's (Unscented) Castile soap is probably the best value online. Competing products on Amazon and eBay bottom out around $10 for an 8 ounce bottle. Cove's 50 cents per ounce price will keep us coming back for more. My wife and I are newcomers to Castile soaps. The bottle gives several recipes for mixing face wash, pet shampoo, fruit / vegetable wash, even laundry detergent and all purpose spray cleaner. Pros: + 33.8 ounces + 50¢ per ounce + No chemicals, waxes, synthetic surfactants + No fragrance + Safe to use on children and pets Cons: - Wish it came with a pump top We chose the unscented version of Cove's Castile soap and have primarily used it as an organic baby wash, hand wash, fruit wash. It contains only a handful of natural ingredients: 1. Purified water 2. Coconut oil 3. Potassium hydroxide 4. Argan oil 5. Jojoba oil 6. Hemp oil 7. Olive oil 8. Vegetable glycerine We were a little worried it wouldn't have enough power but that's not the case. It deep cleans, rinses completely and doesn't irritate our son's ultra-sensitive skin. I am a nurse practitioner who went through a terrible skin fiasco regarding treatment for actinic keratoses (AK). My skin reacted horribly to everything skin care product I used (no matter how "gentle" the product claims), until I began washing my skin with this Cove castile soap. Let me be clear, not all castile soaps are the same. The product is non-irritating, non-drying, and very soothing. Simply put, this product is AMAZING! The organic ingredients in this product soothed my skin and allowed it to heal itself. I recommend this product for all my patients who suffer with acne and who are using a prescription retinoid. When using harsh prescription dermatological medications, it is important to use gentle cleansers and moisturizers. This product is a game changer!! The only negative is the pump becomes loose on the gallon and leaks the product (substantially). The pump also doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the gallon. After about 1/3 of the product was leaked on my bathtub in a very short period of time, I simply transferred the remainder to a smaller bottle. I took off one star because the rose scent is not much like roses. I don't care at all for the scent. Otherwise this soap does everything it is advertised to do. I love that I can water it down and put it in my foaming soap dispenser. It really goes a long way. I will try the citrus. Read more

I have severe eczema and very dry skin and I've been using Dr B castile soap for years but recently it's become drying for my skin so I found Cove and decided to give it a try despite it costing more than Dr B. Lemme tell you, it's worth every dang penny because it's thicker, clearer, and truly soothes the skin. I bought the unscented of course but I can smell the glycerin in it. I'm so happy with the ingredient list and how they're organically derived.
