This is a good concealer, easy to spread, no clumping, and it blends very well. I'm very happy with it. I mainly use concealer under my eyes, where I usually have pretty dark bags. In the picture I've applied this concealer to my left eye, and the right eye has no makeup. I think I got a shade too dark, which was my fault; the one I was pretty sure matched my skin was out of stock, so I went one shade darker. Therefore, in a roundabout way, I would trust how the product photos look. I do still plan to use this as shade. Overall, it seems like nice, high quality concealer. I would recommend it. Read more

The search for the perfect concealer often feels like a never-ending quest. We want a product that covers imperfections without looking heavy, lasts all day without creasing, and feels comfortable on the skin. The Ofra Cover Concealer promises all of this with its hydrating, smoothing, and long-lasting formula. After putting the shade "Tan Chestnut" to the test, I found it to be a genuinely effective product that performs admirably, but its high price point makes it a considered purchase rather than an easy recommendation. Packaging and First Impressions The concealer comes in a sleek, standard tube with a doe-foot applicator, which is practical for precise application under the eyes and on small blemishes. The 5 ml size is on the smaller end of the spectrum for concealers in this price range, which was my first indication that value for money might be a concern. The packaging itself is sturdy and functional, with no frills. Shade, Texture, and Application The shade "Tan Chestnut" is a well-formulated warm, deep tan with noticeable golden-olive undertones. It’s an excellent shade for brightening the under-eye area on medium-tan to deep skin tones and works well for correcting mild to moderate hyperpigmentation without looking ashy. The formula itself is the star of the show. It has a creamy, almost serum-like consistency that is lightweight yet pigmented. As promised, it is incredibly blendable. Whether using a damp beauty sponge, a concealer brush, or just my fingertips, the product melts into the skin seamlessly. It doesn't set too quickly, giving you ample time to work it in for a flawless, skin-like appearance. It truly lives up to its "hydrating" and "smoothing" claims, as it glides over drier patches without clinging or emphasizing texture. Performance and Coverage Coverage: I would classify the coverage as a solid medium. With one layer, it effectively neutralizes the purplish hues of my dark circles and cancels out redness around my nose. It gives the skin a more even, perfected look without masking it completely. While it is buildable to a certain extent, it doesn't quite reach the full, opaque coverage needed to completely hide a very dark blemish or dark spot. For most daily uses, however, the coverage is decent and sufficient. Finish: The "Natural Finish" description is spot-on. It settles into a beautiful satin finish that is neither matte nor overly dewy. It looks like healthy, hydrated skin. This is its strongest attribute—it perfects without looking like obvious makeup, making it ideal for "no-makeup makeup" looks. Longevity and Wear: For a hydrating formula, the longevity is impressive. When set with a light dusting of translucent powder, the concealer wears beautifully for a solid 8-9 hours. I experienced very minimal creasing in the fine lines under my eyes, which is a common issue with many other formulas. It doesn't break apart or look cakey as the day goes on; instead, it fades gracefully. The Value Proposition: Is It Worth the Price? This is where the review becomes more nuanced. The Ofra Cover Concealer works well—there is no denying its quality, blendability, and beautiful finish. However, at its typical retail price for just 5 ml of product, it feels overpriced. The cosmetic market is saturated with exceptional concealers at both the drugstore and high-end levels that offer similar (or even more) coverage and longevity for a more competitive price per milliliter. While the performance is good, it isn't so revolutionary that it justifies the premium cost over other well-established favorites. You are paying for the brand name and the lovely formula, but you can achieve a very similar result with more budget-friendly alternatives. Read more

I’ve been using this natural-finish concealer mainly to hide small breakouts, especially when I wear a surgical mask, and it works very well for that. It blends easily over red spots and provides just enough coverage without looking cakey or thick. The formula feels light and clean, so it never becomes messy or patchy during the day. I really like how simple it is to apply, just a tiny dab evens everything out. The only thing I would change next time is the shade. I chose Tan Walnut, which matches my overall skin tone, but my face is actually a bit lighter, so the color looks slightly darker. I’ll definitely opt for a lighter tone next time to get a closer match. Even so, I still like this concealer for its natural finish, comfortable wear, and reliable coverage. It’s been great for quick touch-ups and keeping my skin calm under a mask. Read more

Very good concealer. It goes on rather creamy, but doesn’t settle into creases. It blends very well, and is buildable. I didn’t experience any irritation while using, and it seems to last pretty well, even in hot climates. Read more

This concealer was able to hide my dark circles under my eyes. However, I felt like the first application was too light, so then I applied a second layer, which was then too dark. Getting the right amount for my personal preference takes a little more time than the product that I’m accustomed to using. The applicator is good for placing little dots in the area that I want to put it, before I use my finger to spread it out and blend it. I can’t apply this in a hurry, I have to slow down and carefully control the amount that I apply. I feel that this cream is dense, and not easy to spread. If it does go on too dark, I found that if I put a few drops of water on my finger, I’m able to spread it easier. A little water on a cloth helps remove some of it from the locations that I feel are too dark. It lasts all day long. I purposely did not wash my face that first night of use, before I went to bed, it was all gone by morning. It did hold up and stay in place after sitting through an emotional program where I cried. Since I was able to spread it easier with a little bit of water after application, I was concerned that it would remain in place, and it did just fine. I think this product is good for covering spots, but it would be difficult to cover the entire face. Since I’m only going to be using it for small areas, it will last me a long time. I do appreciate that should remain good for 34 months now that I have opened it. This timeframe is indicated by the little jar image on the packaging. (See photo.) Read more

It effectively conceals dark circles and blends seamlessly, making my complexion look naturally radiant. I appreciate that it lasts all day, maintaining its finish without settling into fine lines. The 5 ml size is convenient for on-the-go touch-ups. Overall, a fantastic concealer that delivers on its promises, perfect for anyone looking to brighten their under-eye area! Highly recommend.
