I like true match because of the variety of shades and because it has good coverage while having such a light consistency. It has a matte finish, which isn't really my preference but is popular. This particular shade is much darker than pictured. I'd suggest buying it in a store the first time to find the shade that's right for you, before purchasing online. Read more

Foundation for black women with yellow undertones that doesn't make you look ashy. Thank God for L'Oreal -- one of the only makeup companies out there that's not just trying to throw a bunch of warm, red and orange paints at the face of every black woman they come across. This is the exact same shade of the (discontinued) Lancome foundation I was using and only costs 20% of what I used to pay. I used to shell out a ton of money to Sephora and Ulta. Never again!
