I don't like makeup and I rarely ever wear it. But now that I'm in my mid-40s, I'm realizing I need to do better with skincare, so I was looking for a moisturizer with SPF and came across several of the tinted BB creams. After reviewing several, I decided to give this one a try as the pictures of people using the "Light to Medium" seemed to have a similar skin tone as I do. The "Light to Medium" shade perfectly matches my skin. No one can tell that I have this on, unlike with other makeup. My partner and friends had no idea until I told them and they said they couldn't tell. I am really happy with it so far! I've been using it for two days and I can feel how soft my skin is. The coverage is very light, so it's not going to do major color correction, but it does seem like it gives my skin a nice glow and covers up some lighter marks on my face (not freckles, moles or darker spots). Once it dries, I can touch my face and not feel like a bunch of makeup is coming off on my fingers, which is one of the things I dislike about wearing a non-powder foundation. Yesterday, I put the moisturizer on twice as I was going to be out in the sun for a couple of hours and didn't want to get sun burned. I was contemplating putting a different evening cream after my shower, but my skin was still so soft from using the CoverGirl moisturizer twice that I didn't even bother with the night cream. I do have an oily T-Zone, so if I notice any major breakouts or anything weird, I'll come back and update this review, but so far, I really love this product and will buy more of it. :) Read more

Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too 'heavy baked.' Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don't have to... Please note, I'm a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life... I normally wear the following; - Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff, - Revlon Colorstay Powder in 830, light/medium - Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain 1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to Light The consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn't feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. You definitely however need a setting powder to refresh every now and again. (4.5/5 stars) 2)CG Clean Matte BB Creams. It's a very dense BB cream, it's similar consistency to sunscreen, heavy. It also has a very heavy sunscreen odor to it too. However it's medium coverage and very matte—keeping your face shine free all day. It's not very blendable, and you need a lot of product.
