These ZORFE Cowgirl Boots impressed me so much! I’m going to my first rodeo in years next week and these came just in time! First thing I noticed is how soft they were, nothing worse than stiff boots that rub you the wrong way. The uppers are soft, but they stay up and stay put. The upper part also has a couple of inches of faux leather, adding to comfort around the top. The embroidery is beautiful! When walking across my hard floors they are nice and quiet, no loud clicking. Size wise, I got my usual size 9. With thin socks they were kind of slipping around, so I put on some heavier socks for a perfect fit. The boots are very comfy. They’re so easy to slip on and off. The upper has plenty of room in the calf area, my lower calf measures about 12" (which is about where they hit on me) fullest area 14", but they really don’t go that high. I am a boudoir photographer and was looking for a multi-person boot that wouldn't kill my clients feet when we were taking outdoor pictures. These are not your typical cowboy boots, they are NOT firm or stiff at all anywhere... which for me is why they get 5 stars. They are more of a slouchy boot and feel like they are pre-broken in. They can accommodate wide calves beautifully and are true to size, although like typical boots a bit narrow in the foot. I am an 8.5/9 and ordered a 9 and find they feel secure and that I could dance and run in these with ease and comfort. If you're looking for a boot you'd work outdoors in or wear on a regular basis to protect your feet, this isn't it. I ordered these for my 11 year old daughter and she loves them!! The tops are not as stiff as the boots I'm used to, which I wasn't sure about at first. But my daughter said they are much more comfortable that way. She wears them to school and does a lot of walking in them. Yeeehaw! These boots are a win! The material is super soft and extremely comfortable. The boots fit perfect true to size. The toe base is roomy and comfortable no squeezing of toes. The stitch work is beautiful and well done no loose stitching. The chinchy heal is the perfect amount of height without being uncomfortable. Love the calf room the most I would say they are wide leg but as a Polynesian it fits the calf well, with some space. Not a bad price for a decent pair of boots. The packaging and presentation were kind of interesting. I was expecting a shoe box, but they were tightly bundled together in plastic. The quality of the shoes feels pretty nice. The sole has a good cushion, and the inside has a soft lining material. The Leather on the outside is soft and feels durable. There are some inconsistencies in the embroidery on the sides of the boots. Some lose threads, and some areas are thicker and thinner than they are supposed to be. Not a bad budget boot. Read more
