Lots of potential, but the stiff/slippery sole makes these a pass
There are quite a few issues that could be improved on these boots. First of all they are very true to size; I am a standard across the board women's size 9 and the 9 was a great fit. I have narrow feet, and didn't find these to be overly wide or loose. The fake fur around the ankle is a nice touch, looks nice and it does keep some of the cold out. They slip on easily, just need a quick tug on the heel to sit them in place. Those are the pros. The cons, honestly would keep me from recommending these. The sole of these is a hard plastic, very slippery and all together would be unsafe on any icy sidewalks/pavement, and are very stiff. Unfortunately the sole alone is the reason these shoes received 2 stars from me. If the sole were softer, more pliable, or rubber-like they might be a great shoe.
