Man I LOVE these shorts. Ripstop fabrics are some of my favorite fabrics, especially for the summer as where I live it easily reaches the high 90's and low 100's with 80%+ humidity. It can feel like stepping into a steam room and without the right fabrics it can be quite uncomfortable. These shorts are lightweight and roomy enough that in hit weather you'll still be quite comfortable. I own several pairs of the shorts as well I have had some of their pants for years. They fit well and sizing seems to run pretty much right on. They have fairly wide belt loops, they measure about 2.25" and easily fit my 2" belts. In addition the first belt loop on each side have a small "D ring" that let you clip a keychain or other device. They have plenty of pockets on the shorts including 2 small slash pockets if like myself you carry a small flashlight and/or a folder but prefer them not be in your front pocket. The fly is a zipper and on the interior has a single button closure to keep things where they belong and out of the zipper. The rear and cargo pocket flaps have Velcro closures. While the cargo has 2 pieces, the rear flaps have only 1 as well are stitched down one side of the flap which means it doesn't become crumpled in the wash. The front pockets are quite deep. I am easily able to fit my cell phone in the pocket without it sliding back out when sitting down. Hands down these are very comfortable shorts and will stand up to rigorous activity without issue. Not gonna lie, I took these shorts at first as 'Temu' quality shorts due to the pricing at the time. Much to my surprise was the opposite. It was well designed. The sewing threads are top notch and I know cause I learned how to sew from my mom who use to make our school clothes herself (respect to mom). Quality, light fabric and fit perfectly. Will definitely purchase a couple more to replace my shorts that now need to be replaced. Read more
Dear husband loves them! I kove that you could choose an inseam as my husband is 6'2" and the longer inseam was great. Washes well. Didnt shrink. Deep pockets. True to size. Material is soft and not itchy. Love that it isnt your typical cargo short with lots of pockets that are never used. We will order more. Read more

Great looking, well-thought-out shorts for the modern world of cell phones and such. Everything is thought out - good materials, tough pockets - except for the seam in between the legs. I don't know what it is, but I can feel it rubbing at times, so these went from my adventurer hike/walk-anywhere shorts to just looking good around town shorts. Read more
Super comfortable, at first I thought they were cheap by the feel of them and trying on, but after washing and going for a 2 hour hike I was won over. Then I wore just doing errands and now they’re my favorite shorts. I’m buying more. I wear 36in on all pants and these are comfortablely loose. Wearing on a hike I suggest wearing a belt. Read more
These shorts run larger in the waist. I'm a 34" waist and the 34 felt way too loose. I ordered a 32 and it fits perfectly. I love the lightweight material that's quick to dry. Nice side pockets also. Great shorts! My only minor comment is that they come with a nylon/plastic cheap belt. Too much belt slack left over so I tossed the belt and I use a better belt. Not really a complaint because shorts don't normally come with belts anyway. Read more
