I ordered these shorts for my 19-year-old son to wear at his concierge in the woods summer job serving the public at a Forest Lodge. The lodge serves a lot of mountain bikers, so he is allowed to wear nice hiking shorts. These shorts are fantastically comfortable, have a professional look, lots of pockets, and a nice stretch. My son is 6'2" tall, has a lean build, so I ordered the size 34 so he wouldn't feel they were too tight. Great fit, room to spare. He keeps telling me how great the shorts are, so I might have to order him other colors for when he goes back to college in the fall. These shorts are lightweight but tough, with plenty of room to move, whether I’m working outside or hiking with the kids. The elastic waistband is clutch, especially for long days. The cargo pockets are spacious and secure. They’ve held up to washing with no shrinkage or fading. Pros: Comfortable, durable, great pocket layout. Cons: None so far — I’ll be buying more colors. Bought as a gift for the hubs. He really likes these. They have a comfortable, soft feel to them, very airy and cooling. The pockets are well placed and plentiful. He really likes the elastic banding at the waist so he doesn't need to wear a belt. The seem to fit true to size and are the perfect length.
