Crackle Heads Ball Dog Toy Set of 3 Size Small 6 H x 2 W x 2 L

I bought one of these a while ago and my dog loves this toy. She is an aggressive chewer and this toy has lasted a long time - the inside crackle ball has flattened because she chewed it so much, but is still inside the outer ball which she has not been able to chew through - I think we have had this for well over a year which is a record as I generally have to throw her toys out after a few weeks because they are chewed apart. Our dog loves playing with the crackle, she is an 11 pound Havenese. I had tried a shoelace on the first crackle we bought from store (identical to these) . Purpose of shoelace was so I did not have to climb under footstool of recliner to retrieve ball. I think my husband yanked on lace and it tore a piece out of ball and we threw it out as we felt it was dangerous for fear the insides would come out. My dog loves this toy. She is a chewer and usually destroys toys the day she gets them. This ball has a durable but flexible outer shell with a plastic insert that sounds just like the crinkle of a water bottle. The center will crush but it still makes the crinkle noise that is so enticing to my dog. She really gnaws and chews on it and it has been indestructible for months. Read more

I was disappointed in this order. I had purchased the same item at a local pet store. My dog loved it! Yes, the inside collapsed pretty quickly, but the outer ball is intact and she likes to play with it despite that it doesn't "crackle" as much. That said, the balls I ordered are half the size of my original. The dimensions that were given, 2x2x6, made no sense for a sphere. I had hoped for the best when I ordered. They don't crunch like the larger ball and there is not enough "ball" for my dog to get her mouth around. And they disappear under the sofa which makes my life difficult. She will play with them, but they will not achieve "favored toy" status. Read more
