4-Watt Bulbs for the Win!
Creative Hobbies 25 Pack of 4W Night Light Bulbs, Incandescent -- a must-have to light the night at an affordable price and dependable quality. I am a big fan of placing "hospitality candles" in our windows every Christmas season (just prior to Thanksgiving or just after it some years -- it's a toss-up). If a passerby actually took the opportunity to answer the call of these welcoming lights by coming to the door to receive said hospitality, I'm not sure exactly what I would do, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it. These bulbs shine at a few less watts (4) than the bulbs that usually come with hospitality candles (7). Over the weeks of holiday lighting I likely save quite a bit of energy and reduce the load on our electric grid to boot. Double the feel-good! I highly recommend this product in this format, as the cost for the 25-pack is about as much as two 4-packs of similar bulbs (also 4-wall) at a famous Big Box retailer. With sincere certainty, I believe I will never need to purchase another pack of 4-watt bulbs for Christmas decorating. Perhaps, in my later years, I will hand the remaining bulbs down to the next generation to use for future years of holiday lighting needs. These bulbs are up to the task, no doubt about it. These bulbs sport the narrow bulb base required for hospitality candles. Large based bulbs need not apply.
